frankly, talking about helmet, i'd say, be kiasu kiasi and buy the best helmet that u can afford...

if anything ever happen, u'd thank ur helmet for saving ur life...

get a full face if possible... u'll be grateful for having it saving ur handsome face in case of a fall.

i wear a fullface even when i'm on kapchai.

dont forget, RM5000 helmet strap untied is worthless compared to an RM50 helmet with the strap tied

usually the bike's rim size about 17 inch's for superbikes, and the size would be 120-70 for front and 150-70 to 190-55 for rear.

how much a full face helmat leh?>??

recently i just found out that my senior is kena hit by car....
masuk hospital... and his faces...... kena........ big scars....

dun know why, recently, i feel my kriss no power....! is time for me to overhaul? or service leh???

last time i quote for a full face helmet for 500batt around RM50... i might going 2 hatyai during CNY so thinking to get 1 helmet n maybe sport rims..

anyone interested to import some thai product over here??

full face helmat for RM50??? it's almost same price as my INDEX helmat....

RM1 to the first person to guess it's quality too guys, you buy a fullface to protect your face, not for the sake of wearing something other than Apollo or MS88.... think about it, you get what you pay for...

so rm100 can get a reasonable quality full face helmat???

think of it this way, I have heard about two types of crashes before from the people involved. one is with a MHR fullface unknown model and another with an Arai Astro J. MHR guy gets bumped from the left by a Kancil, drops and slides about 100 meter and suffered road rash on his face but no scars, the whole front broken into bits.

Arai case, accidentally highside at a traffic light junction during mid day traffic, car almost run into him and 1 tonne LORRY ran OVER his helmet with his face pointing down to the ground. damage was severe, but he also only suffered road rash because his cheeks were pushed out of the helmet opening after the visor broke.

whats your opinion? MHR quite good quality one also you know.

edit: just checked with the guy, the lorry didnt run over his helmet, the tyre of the lorry sort of rammed into his helmet and dragged it for about 100 meters, but thats still quite bad yeah? and he can still get up and confront the lorry driver also!

the arai case was super horror! im imagining myself now......which is good nor bad?..hummm both are good, both did their job,the next thing otr...wear helmets & secured..dont loosen it

thats why i saw a rider on a 3 wheel pasar malam bike wearing a full face helmet!!


duh.. your thread making me want to buy a more faster bike... today saw my bank account got around RM3k++... just enough to buy a FXR150...

tsg, horror indeed, after the accidents both riders stopped riding until today.. true both did their jobs, but you can scale how well it would be if the helmets were switched
