hi there FunctionX.. so nice of you to give me a detailed explanation.. really appreciate it.. thanks so much.. well, if it's like what you say, i guess i'll be trying to get one.. and i'll see about the mods.. i've heard from elsewhere too about the fuel efficiency, and it seems it has good handling.. as for top speed, i dont really care, i probably wont go more than 80.. haha.. yea, im a wuss of a driver.. thanks again.. =) i'll ask more once im onto something.. =)

my fxr150 fuel mileage on average is 30km/l. top speed is about 140km/h++, I did maintained full throttle with this bike while carrying another passenger from negeri sembilan till bangi, bike is still in good condition (didn't go pass red line as suggested by the motorcycle manual). So far the bike haven't break down on the road yet which is nice. Went to Kuantan before with average speed of 120km/h. The fuel is also quite big; 15 litres and it could last 400kms with one full tank.

the bike has nice brakes, if installed with steel braided brake hose and good brake pads, you can do stoppie anytime. LCD does fade, and it costs about RM580 for a new one, mine started to fade and I'm sad cry.gif

because of the standard front and rear disc brakes, when you're riding in the rain the brake will usually be weak because of the water from the rain accumulating of the disc brakes (also lowering the temperature of the brake disc). When you keep pulling hard the brakes, it will reach to a point where the brakes gain back the grip, thus the risk of tire lock which is dangerous.

You might not run at maximum speed, but make sure you bike can run at the speed it could easily , otherwise there's nsomething wrong with the bike.  Trust me when you are on the road there are times when you depend your ride can max, and make sure you are in control when you run.  Not necessarily be mat rempit though.

When you are riding in the future you will appreciate that they have taught you about all these stuffs.

You would normally use the hand signals to let others know what you're going to do because some of them are moron drivers and in some special situations.

Some people doesn't know that their bike's signal or rear light already broken, and for your information, I do check my lights sometimes.

And I read the brochures from MSF (motorcycle safety foundation , USA) which have better information on safe motorcycle riding.

for 125z get the original sprocket.. its called original for a reason and its set to that speed for a reason..if u wanna modify untill fly 150-200.. stay off the road or get a better bike. if u wanna rempit go aim at the wall or aim go under the lorry let them kill u before u kill someone else..

but if u wan typically built for speed not pick up heres a no brainer. smaller front sprocket with bigger rear ones should get the job done.
my previous TZM using 14-42 pickup kinda slow but still ok and top speed is reasonable.
now using CBR so not so sure.

for taking motorcycle test without hand signal i think i knnow one near inti collage nilai... i took my b full there and i see those b2 fella never use hand also.

best of ur bike? stock is best of ur bike. its balanced. no use having more speed ended up bike at workshop and blow ur pocket to repair. its not designed that way. its a commuter bike, not sportbike.
