QUOTE(qebalt @ Jun 7 2007, 01:24 AM) last weekend, my friend involve in an accident. the fishy thing is, how the front fork of his bike broke. his bike is CBR 1000RR. according to his story, he hit a small hole and then, about a few kilometres, suddenly his right handle broke, couldn't control his bike and the bike hit the road barrier. I've post about it in my blog with some pictures I'd taken, http://bikingandtravelling.blogspot.com/20...y-3rd-june.html . wah... the bikes really trash now.. it look like a very bad crash.. is it still repairable???what do you guys think about it? is it Honda's fault or else? just hit a small hole and then from handle broke. how fragile it was..... the picture of the right handle is the 6th picture. from what i see tat part is just joint.. hmm does d bike got crash before?? i guess it should not easily to putus... even is Honda fault can ask them repair for FOC??? is the rims bengkok becos of hitting the potshole or after the crash?? i guess he was going 2 turn into right corner as his weight push the right handle to get the turn... thats the reason why biking in Malaysia is so dangerous... even a new superbike can handle the road condition at here.. |
