What version of FT do i need to run DotA?

Just had my first taste of DotA
 i feel i'll get addicted to it...but have to install it on my com first.What version of Frozen throne do i need to install DotA? Sorry if this is a noob question...right now i don't even have WC3 installed. Just want to know the version needed so i won't waste my time.. Currently i have a Frozen Throne 1.15 cd...couple of years old i guess...  Thanks alot  |

the version is not specified, but to be safe use the latest, 1.20e

If i install 1.15, can i upgrade it to 1.20e?

i think u need to install 1.20 then upgrade to 1.20e...btw, 1.20 is enuff to play dota..

to play with other people over bnet u need the latest version (1.20e)...if over lan then all the versions must be the same

can i install version 1.15 and then download the free 1.20d patch? Will it work like that?
