since there is some1 anti 2nd hand, so i don dare 2 anti second hand..

to fully utilize ur budget of rm1.5k (assume that ur current player has RCA output).. i recommend this setup @ the picture below..

as for speakers.. if u like bassy mid u can try Alpine Type R 6.5" component.. i'm not sure wats the price is but they r g00d bassy speakers.. as for the amp, u can get a 4 channel amp which can produce 50rmsx4 (minimum) 2 drive both the components and woofer.. maybe howiechoo can recomend u 1 tongue.gif

if u like medium strong bass (not deep), u can go for a 10" woofer o if u like SQ (sound quality setup, low deep bass) setup, u can go for a 12" woofer.. i know they r categorized like that but they do work that way.. laugh.gif (dono how 2 explain tongue.gif ) no recomendation so far bcz have not see any interesting woofer lately tongue.gif

yo bro.. i think u can check them out at those accessories shop especially brothers.. but i will not advice u 2 buy and install from brothers... o else u'll regret forever n ever.. ha! ha! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

amp installation is very important.. muz find those experience ICE installer o else u may get the freaking annoying AEROPLANE sound vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif .. n that is not the worse part... when there is this sound.. they'll ask u 2 install the suspressor that will confirm lower down the amp's sound quality.. bcz this kind of accessories shop doesn't do g00d cable grounding o maybe more...

try 2 search around n survey lots of shops for b4 u install them.. juz don "ter"use the ICE $ then can liao tongue.gif tongue.gif

well... i was thinking of this point
4ch amps are usually 75w per channel even bridged also bout 150w
and i was looking at subs the other day as they rms values were round 250w
not enough power leh tongue.gif it will still work but not optimum loh

hmmmm i recall a friend getting this

alpine 98xx HU
focal front comp (forgot which model)
6x9 eclipse (i think lar also forgot with model)
alpine 4ch amp (also forgot which model)
including installation was 3k

maybe you can use this as a base line
get a mid range HU instead of a high end wan
same goes for the amp
lose the 6x9 and get a sub (sub with box would cost round 400 bucks?)
