Hi I've been playing guitar for some quite some time now..but it seems that i kinda get bored with repeating the same song..please suggest me some songs that are good for practice..my level of playing is intermediate..songs that can improve my playing skills but not that advance like metallica or malmsteen

suggest songs that you enjoy listening and strive to play so i prob can suggest an easier version of the song? try learning full simple songs with solo in it, my recommendations would be the killers- read my mind, when you were young. jimmy eat world-pain. You can never go wrong with learning metallica nothing else matters, the solo is pretty simple once you get your bending technique down.

Listen to something melodic and repetitive. Might be difficult, but if we could curi 1/10 of his skill, your guitar playing would be in different level next week

Dorian
Blues

all these helps with melody and train shredding.

Intermediate then play Pantera lor. Pantera, Lamb of God, Destruction, Kreator. But if you can't play Metallica, then you should try playing Metallica before you move to the bands I mentioned. Not really that hard, you can do it! Take the solos bit by bit.

start slowly you'll get there somehow. get guitarpro and learn tabs is the easier road breakdown riff/solo and practice them in separate bars, apply to any songs too easy or hard the difference is one will take a longer time to master than the other.

Yeah, scales is important too, listen to 2nd clip lotsa scale run u can learn from

haha on necrophagist stuff. actually for me la at least necrophagist solo( ignom&pale, diminished to be, advanced corpse tumour which ive learnt b4) is quite straightforward practice on getting the speed right, ones i thought a bit crazy which let me on hiatus on learning them was sea of lies-symphony x, dream theatre best of times (actually most of petrucci's alternate picking is so crazy sometimes, even the sweeps is straight up blinding speed) and desert rose by eric johnson.
