Yeah TM should provide router that can support 30mbps. Who still use lan cable lol
*
LOL... im still using LAN RJ45.... sweat.gif

to me, i never believe wifi's stability and reliability, plus, at home i use PC, not laptop, hence no need if wanna use high speed internet with unstable connectivity... doh.gif

but, to get a new router is also not a bad thing, at least can guarantee good connectivity and stability, especially if using high speed internet as you wouldnt want your experience interrupted by bad connectivity and unstable flip flop speeds... laugh.gif

Should not have issues, mine is connected at 72mbps with actual transfer rate at around 33-35mbps so it should cope with UniFi 30, only those with UniFi 50 should have concerns over stock router's WiFi performance.
*
My router is the d-link dir-615, and i am currently using Unifi50, does all the complaints that unable to achieve speeds as advertised are those that using the WiFi? if is direct connection should be no problem is it? I never really speedtest my wifi, but with LAN connection, am able to get speed that is advertised hmm.gif

Saw UniFi 30 Mbps in my OCC already but Service Start Date : 12/15/2014 which is the date I upgraded from VIP5 to VIP10. hmm.gif

Will try it when I go back home tonight. rclxm9.gif

Hi, can you let me know what is the OCC and what are the login credentials required?
Because I cant remember if i logged in to any unifi services before to check my service details...

QUOTE(audiocool @ Jul 29 2015, 12:27 PM)
those who already upgraded to 30mbps or 50 mbps... Can you kindly share out whether you are in landed property (Full fibre) or high rise building (Fibre -> Room downstair -> Copper from room to your house unit)

so we all are aware that speed might not be affected even for those high rise building
*
I am in landed property, line upgraded to 50Mbps the day I applied when I rebooted my router and BTU after work laugh.gif

You just login to https://occ.unifi.my/HSBBCustomerPortal/HSB...erPortal.portal
You can just click forget password or sign up.

Hi, can I know what does the service login required during signup?
Where can I find the information from?

And also, the customer name and identity, are those fields put the person who own the unifi account (in my case is my mom) or i can just put mine? icon_question.gif

I am using this, purchased from lazada.  the attenna got 5dbi & 8dbi version,  (suppose 8dbi provide more signal range ? price is not much different, so better get 8dbi attenna)

this is wireless N router, max is 300Mbps speed only, support Unifi.  although not the latest Wireless AC, but wireless N i think is sufficient to use since Max unifi home package  is 50Mbps only.  very reliable, signal range really good, i  recommended to all. i got 3 unit, 1 in home, 2 in office. Price is good also, just rm1xx  thumbup.gif
*
oh... so this router is a good investment? cheap, reliable and good connectivity? hmm.gif

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 31 2015, 11:00 AM)
Get your own connection. sweat.gif

That's the reason why my housemate wanted to share with me when she knew I had installed UniFi VIP5, that time. I told her, it's OK... Don't want to share... sweat.gif
Now using 30Mbps alone also not sharing. laugh.gif

I don't like my connection to be slowed down. laugh.gif
*
hahaha... i kind of agree with you fruitie, me myself also one people using 50Mbps, my mom only other people using for smartphone browsing... other than that, only sat and sun when relatives come only use my connection, on normal days, all to my own tongue.gif tongue.gif

Hi Guys, can I ask people who subscribed to Unif50, may I know what is the amount in your first bill?

Im taking Unifi50 + Ruby (when i apply it is RM30, but in the bill shows RM40) + RM20 Voice plan + GST6%, the total amount is RM308+.

Is this normal? If by normal calculation shouldnt it be at max RM295.74?

Try call unifi to verified.

Since u said u register that time its give u RM30, so u can argue with them and they will rebate you in next bill.

i will try that one on Monday, will go to TM tower there with the flyer that I used when i registered mine Unifi50.

QUOTE(doremon @ Aug 14 2015, 04:23 PM)
I'm on 50mbps but my current bill calculate as

RM169.00 (30mbps) + RM30.00 (Aneka Pack) + RM50.00 (50mbps) + 6% (GST) = RM263.95nett (For 2 years)

This is the cheapest for 50mbps package.

According to TM, my first bill will be slightly cheaper (Purata wise). The following month will get the stated amount.
*
Yea, that was what i thought, mine will add RM20 more for the voice pack, but the additional cost i really dunno coming from where, so will try to clarify with them on Monday.

QUOTE(eternity4av @ Aug 14 2015, 04:23 PM)
yeah, CS told me if were to opted for Unifi 50 then the charges would be the same as Doraemon
*
QUOTE(biloxee @ Aug 14 2015, 04:30 PM)
Mine at OCC is showing RM258.5 when I'm subscribed to UniFi30 + Aneka which should be RM210.94.
Don't know what the RM47.56 is for...
*
thanks for your replies guys, will try to confront the matter with TM this coming Monday and see what happens notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Boss, refer to this link  smile.gif
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_vrNxPoYHas/VcKz...00/vip30-50.jpg
According to my friendlah, when registering VIP30 or VIP50, always go for RM199.00 package first. That can avoid all the complication. Must be clear on this. If not  sweat.gif .
No turning back once registered  cry.gif
*
But when i register, this is not the flyer that I got... the one i got is another one, also colored, but all the 3 packs are at RM210...
