Who here ex-20Mbps users using 50Mbps?
Would you recommend?

Not really keen on spending another 150 here.

Just that 50Mbps is the same price with 20Mbps. Still deciding if should go for it.
It just that with the new 50Mbps we would lose the hypptv and no more free calls to landline and low rate to mobile.

Existing package subscribed VIP20: 20Mbps DL/20Mbps UL (RM199) + Hypptv Platinum Pack (RM50) + Free TM calls to landline (RM0.15 sen /minute to mobile) = RM263.94
If upgrade to 50Mbps: 50Mbps DL/10Mbps UL + Hypptv Jumbo Pack + TM fixed to fixed and fixed to mobile at RM0.21sen /minute = RM295.74

Not sure if it worth upgrading. I often use the phone to call family via landline.

Wait, you retain TM unlimited calls to landline? How?
Upgrading to 50Mbps would also lose hypptv platinum pack not that I watch it often.

Went to TM Point, want to upgrade to Unifi 50+Aneka pack from my VIP20+Mega Pack but was told not allowed. Was asked to add RM53 per month on top of what I'm already paying so means RM263.74 + RM53 = RM316.74, no more free fixed to fixed but retain my current hypptv mega pack. My answer: no fukken way!.

Call TM hotline (100) instead, asked them about upgrading, told them what TM Point told me. They told me TM Point and TM Telemarketing (TM Sales Centre) are 2 different entity, the latter gives cheaper price. They then gave me good deal. So, pay instead RM285.14 including GST, an increase of RM20 and still retaining my current hypptv pack (mega pack) and free fixed calls nationwide.

Nope, the guy that pick up my calls offer the deal to me after I told him I want to upgrade my VIP20 to Unifi 50 but choose Aneka pack instead so can keep my monthly bills the same.
He checked with his colleague or boss a few times before came at me and told me TM won't let me do that but instead offer me to upgrade to Unifi 50 + my current hypptv pack + free fixed to fixed for RM269 exlude gst.
Of course I'd say yes

You can call 100 and press "2" for unifi and "4" for sales. Tell them you received a call from telemarketing for an upgrade

I happened to ask the name of the cs who picked up my call, his name is Zafri. Try asking to talk to him instead? Other than that I don't know, maybe it just pure luck that I got that deal.

It means if you want to downgrade while still in contract, you have to pay RM200 downgrade fee. You can downgrade to any other package EXCEPT:
1- Your previous package (VIP10)
2- Unifi 50 downgrade to Unifi 30.

Oh, didn't realized yours in high rise building. Same thing happened, TM Point asked me is my house landed or not, if landed then can upgrade.

All equipments will not renew. If u take new equipments, need to pay.

Asked about changing my hypptv stb and they said need to pay around rm300 for a new one. Lol. Better terminate and reapply but then too much hassle at least.

4k streaming with Unifi50 is really good. Even download speed hover around 60-70MBps

Not really. I for one doesn't have that problem or any problem with my unifi 50. Even both of and android app store working no problem. Currently using unifi 50 with mikrotik router

Just want to straighten things up here,from what I've been told by TM staff themselves (not TM Point) TM Sales and TM Point is 2 different entity. If from TM Point you won't get free calls butnif from TM Sales you will. The question everyone is asking is how to get them to call you.
