QUOTE(Zi-Tech @ Aug 23 2015, 11:06 PM) Not really keen on spending another 150 here. QUOTE(theskems @ Aug 24 2015, 09:36 AM) For streaming and gaming stick with VIP20 as it is more stable. But if you are a heavy downloader/torrent then go for Unifi 50. Hopefully they will introduce symmetrical upload/download for Unifi 50 in the near future. Just that 50Mbps is the same price with 20Mbps. Still deciding if should go for it.It just that with the new 50Mbps we would lose the hypptv and no more free calls to landline and low rate to mobile. |

QUOTE(christina1 @ Aug 24 2015, 08:57 PM) Oh, sorry, wrong info there.Existing package subscribed VIP20: 20Mbps DL/20Mbps UL (RM199) + Hypptv Platinum Pack (RM50) + Free TM calls to landline (RM0.15 sen /minute to mobile) = RM263.94 If upgrade to 50Mbps: 50Mbps DL/10Mbps UL + Hypptv Jumbo Pack + TM fixed to fixed and fixed to mobile at RM0.21sen /minute = RM295.74 Not sure if it worth upgrading. I often use the phone to call family via landline. |

QUOTE(prasys @ Aug 24 2015, 09:26 PM) I got the promotion to 50Mbps , I get to remain my unlimited calls , my hypptvv (they changed the package) . So I'm gettiing VIP benefits + the new speed but no discount on pricing Wait, you retain TM unlimited calls to landline? How? Upgrading to 50Mbps would also lose hypptv platinum pack |

Went to TM Point, want to upgrade to Unifi 50+Aneka pack from my VIP20+Mega Pack but was told not allowed. Was asked to add RM53 per month on top of what I'm already paying so means RM263.74 + RM53 = RM316.74, no more free fixed to fixed but retain my current hypptv mega pack. My answer: no fukken way!.
Call TM hotline (100) instead, asked them about upgrading, told them what TM Point told me. They told me TM Point and TM Telemarketing (TM Sales Centre) are 2 different entity, the latter gives cheaper price. They then gave me good deal. So, pay instead RM285.14 including GST, an increase of RM20 and still retaining my current hypptv pack (mega pack) and free fixed calls nationwide. ![]() This post has been edited by nyunyu: Sep 2 2015, 07:08 PM |

QUOTE(KKW @ Sep 2 2015, 07:10 PM) That's really good deal.. I try call them they said will make a report to ask the telemarketing to call back but end up no phone call Nope, the guy that pick up my calls offer the deal to me after I told him I want to upgrade my VIP20 to Unifi 50 but choose Aneka pack instead so can keep my monthly bills the same.Did they call you back or they pass you to the Telemarketing department? He checked with his colleague or boss a few times before came at me and told me TM won't let me do that but instead offer me to upgrade to Unifi 50 + my current hypptv pack + free fixed to fixed for RM269 exlude gst. Of course I'd say yes |

QUOTE(KKW @ Sep 2 2015, 08:21 PM) This what I have told them but the person said will send a report to the telemarketing department and ask me wait them to call back I happened to ask the name of the cs who picked up my call, his name is Zafri. Try asking to talk to him instead? Other than that I don't know, maybe it just pure luck that I got that deal. |

QUOTE(faridsuarez @ Sep 2 2015, 11:32 PM) Hi all ..succesfully upgrade from vip10 to vip30 ang got the email from TM bout the confirmation..but here some of the term and condition i want to ask for clarify here.. It means if you want to downgrade while still in contract, you have to pay RM200 downgrade fee. You can downgrade to any other package EXCEPT:1. This is a computer generated email, no signature is required. 2. Upgrade / Downgrade of service will automatically renew contract for 24 month from date activate. 3. Internet access speed is: a) UniFi 50: Download 50Mbps/Upload 10Mbps* b) UniFi 30: Download 30Mbps/ Upload 5Mbps* 4. A downgrade fee of RM200 will be charged Downgrade is performed during minimum contract period. Not applicable for Unifi 30 & 50 to downgrade back to previous package but same treatment will be impose if customer Unifi 50 downgrade to Unifi 30. got question regarding term and condition no 4. does it mean if upgrade from vip10 to vip30 can downgrade back to vip10 without any penalty within contract period? miss my free call to fixline during vip10.. 1- Your previous package (VIP10) 2- Unifi 50 downgrade to Unifi 30. QUOTE(KKW @ Sep 3 2015, 11:39 AM) I just called 100 and finally get the answer, TM new policy for 50mbps is currently not available for high rise building even though you are using FTTH Oh, didn't realized yours in high rise building. Same thing happened, TM Point asked me is my house landed or not, if landed then can upgrade.I can't upgrade to 30mbps as well because it's consider downgrade from VIP20. For TM, any package that paying lesser than current package is consider downgrade. Oh well, this mean I have to stick to VIP20 for longer time then |

QUOTE(enixcv123 @ Sep 5 2015, 03:10 PM) Guys, Since last month i have upgraded from 10mb to 30mb, will the warranty for router renew together as well? All equipments will not renew. If u take new equipments, need to pay. That day technician came and changed a new router for me, but then he ask me to contact the CS to verify whether it's free, when i called to CS i was told that i will be charged for RM127? WTF is that, he then told me renew contract the warranty wont renew. I made a complaint to TM product team and now waiting for them to give me an answer. Otherwise, i will complain to consumer tribunal court. Asked about changing my hypptv stb and they said need to pay around rm300 for a new one. Lol. Better terminate and reapply but then too much hassle at least. This post has been edited by nyunyu: Sep 5 2015, 06:25 PM |

QUOTE(skylinelover @ Sep 13 2015, 11:51 AM) So i guess no difference the VIP30 and 50 then with the same errors keep popping up and speeds less than 80% capacity. Not really. I for one doesn't have that problem or any problem with my unifi 50. Even both of and android app store working no problem. Currently using unifi 50 with mikrotik router |

QUOTE(wilson1stop @ Sep 14 2015, 05:34 PM) NOPE, start from Septermber onward, no more FREE calls for new subscribers, except renew contract/upgrade/relocation. Just want to straighten things up here, from what I've been told by TM staff themselves (not TM Point) TM Sales and TM Point is 2 different entity. If from TM Point you won't get free calls butnif from TM Sales you will. The question everyone is asking is how to get them to call you. |
