QUOTE(mitsui hisashi @ Jul 29 2015, 02:37 PM) I just bought a new TPLink Archer C9 for my unifi but it doesn't seems to login unifi, can anyone kind enough to give me a help on this (I've update to the lastest firmware) i think C9 is not supported yet for UniFi.Only C2 and C7 is supported right now for UniFi.Thanks in advance TPLink Malaysia need to provide VLAN support first before we can use it for UniFi. QUOTE(Newbieee @ Aug 3 2015, 04:05 PM) Hello everybody, newbie here. I am applying for unifi for the first time and this morning I apply vip5 online via official website, hoping that I'll get first month free. But after I read this thread, I am wondering, should I just apply for the unifi30 instead? Where to apply since I cannot find it on the website. Or should I apply vip5 then upgrade to unifi30? u can apply unifi 3o through me.no problem i u don't have tv.if u lcd monitor support hdmi can be used to view hypptv channels. One more thing, I don hv a tv, can I apply unifi cos I read in the page 1,it said that no partial activation is alowed. Thank you all |

TPLink just revamp their website, some of their routers get a firmware updates.but beware it doesn't support our UniFi VLAN.
I accidentally update my WDR-3600 and find out there's no VLAN setting.crap. And there's no previous firmware too for Malaysia market. Thanks god i found out the old one at other site. |

QUOTE(rideverest @ Aug 13 2015, 01:53 PM) Planning to get UNIFI soon. Currently using streamyx. Is the VIP30 package worth the money? Plus what's the fuss with the september promo stuffs? Dont get it they say u can subscribe UniFi 30 or UniFi 50 without any paid hypptv package. What i can say there's no such thing in near future If that happens.your UniFi 30 or UniFi 50 will be RM 169 and RM 219 each before GST. |

QUOTE(frozenslayer @ Aug 19 2015, 08:29 AM) Yeah , I just upgraded to 30 mbps yesterday and my torrents didn't go above 1.3mbp/s and I was also watching a stream and was lagging as I was only utilizing 50% of the entire speed. It just didn't make sense , kinda glad I wasn't the only one facing this issue. deng,i must be lucky, the highest i got is 4.1 MBps on a 30Mb UniFi. |

QUOTE(jusbella @ Aug 20 2015, 12:05 AM) BTU called broadband termination unit. the reason why the BTU/ONT has 4 ports because whatever service that use TM HSBB infra can use that same BTU/ONT.Buy many router as backup. Sometimes router also will spoilt I not sure why they need so many lan port on modem. For my case they disable port 2.3.4 in my modem. I tried plug in 2.3.4 no any light indicator... So in my guess, they just partner with alcatel to produce compatible unifi modem, so its just a design, they just need flash the firmware to btu den its done, give to tm, den tm sell to end user. Example :UniFi port 1,Maxis port 2,P1,port 3, Next time, let's say Astro is offering their IPTV over UniFi,maybe they can use port 4. |

i bet the highest speed you can get after this is only 100 Mbps.Maybe need to wait for sometime to go beyond that.
-the current BTU only support up to 100Mbps -the stock router/residential gateway is not a gigabit router -must be wireless AC1200 |

QUOTE(Angel of Deth @ Aug 20 2015, 11:53 AM) I applied for Unifi 30 from Unifi 10 from telephone one week before Raya. They promised to keep my old 2013 Mega Pack (Asian + Variety channels) for RM 219 (w/o GST). That mean I am committed for another 24 months. So grossly about RM20 up from my previous bill, RM199 (w/o GST). from my understanding, your old package is VIP10 + Mega = RM199 + RM 50 = RM249,but u pay only RM199 .Meaning u got RM 50 discount. What i don't really understand, they changed my package to Unifi 30 + Jumbo Pack for the price of RM231.80 (w/o GST) not RM219 as agreed before. That RM231.80 is still not inclusive of GST. Are there any fees for contract renewal? What I don't understand next, why my HyppTV package price changing from RM50 to RM66.45 (without 6% GST)? What's the extra RM 6.45 for? Another service fees? And I don't even applied for Jumbo pack. With GST my HyppTV bill alone skyrocketed to RM70. They agreed not to touch my HyppTV package at all, I put strong reminder few times before because I know Jumbo pack is RM10 pricier and couldn't care less about the sports channel. (Old school HK films FTW) But now got a whole different package, with increasing price. Now I can no longer watch my favourite HK stars.. Hope all of this is one time only and next month my bill will be RM219. If not, I will lodge a complaint at TM point. Then u upgrade to UniFi 30+Jumbo,they remove your VIP 10,remove your Mega, remove your RM50 discount. RM169 + RM 60 = RM 229. (your new fee for full 1 month exclusive GST) --------------------------------------------- RM66.45 = RM60 advance for Jumbo + 6.45 pro rated RM231.8 = RM 229 advance for UniFi 30 inclusive Jumbo + RM2.8 pro rated for UniFi 30 inclusive Jumbo *All calculation exclusive of GST. Deng..the telemarketer really don't advise you properly. My calculation might be wrong.Need to see the bill. |

QUOTE(Zi-Tech @ Aug 20 2015, 02:41 PM) new BTU is Gigabit Ethernet, only router is not gigabit Ethernet.... it is huawei HG8240... but i dont think tm will be offer up to 1gbps.... but another 50 years is different story.... ic,TM is using GPON,don't think they can offer 1Gbps per customer.based on current config, should be max 100Mbps per BTU/ONT.This post has been edited by Xefron: Aug 20 2015, 04:10 PM |
