Even a cheap RM80 TP-LINK is better than this router.

I just bought a new TPLink Archer C9 for my unifi but it doesn't seems to login unifi, can anyone kind enough to give me a help on this (I've update to the lastest firmware)

Hello everybody, newbie here. I am applying for unifi for the first time and this morning I apply vip5 online via official website, hoping that I'll get first month free. But after I read this thread, I am wondering, should I just apply for the unifi30 instead? Where to apply since I cannot find it on the website. Or should I apply vip5 then upgrade to unifi30?

One more thing, I don hv a tv, can I apply unifi cos I read in the page 1,it said that no partial activation is alowed.

Planning to get UNIFI soon. Currently using streamyx. Is the VIP30 package worth the money? Plus what's the fuss with the september promo stuffs? Dont get it

Since u said u register that time its give u RM30, so u can argue with them and they will rebate you in next bill.

my area only have 1mbps streamyx, if all rebranded to unifi means they're at least 5mbps right?

Yeah , I just upgraded to 30 mbps yesterday and my torrents didn't go above 1.3mbp/s and I was also watching a stream and was lagging as I was only utilizing 50% of the entire speed. It just didn't make sense , kinda glad I wasn't the only one facing this issue.

Buy many router as backup. Sometimes router also will spoilt If called tm come change router, they will give the same super lousy router...

I not sure why they need so many lan port on modem. For my case they disable port 2.3.4 in my modem. I tried plug in 2.3.4 no any light indicator...

So in my guess, they just partner with alcatel to produce compatible unifi modem, so its just a design, they just need flash the firmware to btu den its done, give to tm, den tm sell to end user.

I applied for Unifi 30 from Unifi 10 from telephone one week before Raya. They promised to keep my old 2013 Mega Pack (Asian + Variety channels) for RM 219 (w/o GST). That mean I am committed for another 24 months. So grossly about RM20 up from my previous bill, RM199 (w/o GST).

What i don't really understand, they changed my package to Unifi 30 + Jumbo Pack for the price of RM231.80 (w/o GST) not RM219 as agreed before. That RM231.80 is still not inclusive of GST. Are there any fees for contract renewal?

What I don't understand next, why my HyppTV package price changing from RM50 to RM66.45 (without 6% GST)? What's the extra RM 6.45 for? Another service fees? And I don't even applied for Jumbo pack. With GST my HyppTV bill alone skyrocketed to RM70.

They agreed not to touch my HyppTV package at all, I put strong reminder few times before because I know Jumbo pack is RM10 pricier and couldn't care less about the sports channel. (Old school HK films FTW)

But now got a whole different package, with increasing price. Now I can no longer watch my favourite HK stars..

Hope all of this is one time only and next month my bill will be RM219. If not, I will lodge a complaint at TM point.

new BTU is Gigabit Ethernet, only router is not gigabit Ethernet.... it is huawei HG8240... but i dont think tm will be offer up to 1gbps.... but another 50 years is different story....
