Can my speed be disturbed by neighbour unifi? My early deduction is at night less neighbour using their unifis

Haiz now knowing this stock router can actually give me my speed, i dont know if it still worth to invest in new router...

Use this http://www.techspot.com/downloads/5936-inssider.html
to scan which channels are free or less crowded...best channels are 1, 6, or 11...

Good to know this but I still prefer my current setup now. laugh.gif

Did you turn off the wifi on the stock router or both still on?
I just set up my Streamyx DSL-2750E ADSL modem router as AP but left both wifis on (same SSID but different channel).

Turn off stock router's WiFi to avoid conflict.
I just use the same SSID on my TP Link, so that I don't need to reconfigure for my other devices. tongue.gif

Oh okay. Thanks.

Does Unifi 30 come with voice add on?

If we already upgrade to Unifi 30 with Aneka/Ruby pack now, can we still change the package to Unifi package without HyppTV when launch?
*
Got. RM20.

HyppTV package contract is 12 months...

does that mean we can terminate HyppTV package after 12 months?
*
When I went to TM Point to apply for my UniFi, I asked that question. I was told "cannot" because it is a "special" bundle.
Anwyay, I'm not going to bother about it until next June/July...

You could use HDMI to DVI converter smile.gif

For audio you can use the RCA stereo out to 3.5mm jack for headphones but not sure it will work or not.

My HyppTV collecting dust since day 1 tongue.gif

The HDMI transmits audio too. I plug my speakers to the monitor's audio out for sound...

I was using IPv6 when using stock router.
*
My setup is a little different but IPV6 works. Connection is LAN port (TM stock router) to LAN port (AP).
I set my AP's IP Address as 192.168.0.2 since my TM stock router's IP Address is 192.168.0.1.
I also disabled the DHCP Server on my AP.

Finally, I changed the Start/End IPs on my TM stock router so that there are no IP clashes with the AP.

But is your AP a TP Link? unsure.gif
*
No. But its nothing to do with brand.
The location in the UI might be different so one would just have to locate it to set it...

How do you access the router now? Still can access from the old 192.168.1.1?

Maybe I will just stick with IPv4 now. tongue.gif
*
I can access my TM stock router (192.168.0.1) and AP (192.168.0.2) from any PC/Laptop/Phone.

I believe you can't access your TM Innatech anymore when connecting through yout AP, right?

Yes, cannot.
*
You could try turning off your TP-Link's DHCP Server and then change its IP to 192.168.0.2...
Or don't bother, if you're fine with it... biggrin.gif

thanks for the fast respond. after i change the SSID, do I need to relogin the hypptv again? during set up of the hypptv i saw they use the SSID to login.
*
I believe that is for the apps like youtube on the STB to access the internet via WIFI.
The HyppTV channels stream thru the wired LAN cable so it will still work regardless...

ADSL2+ only can support max 24mbps.

Yea but he's not using the modem part of his device. His WIFI is capable of a theoretical 300Mbits
