coaches can most likely be found at the practice ranges. go to the one near you and start from there. look around, ask the range operator, look see look see who looks like a coach and then approach them and ask questions.

Hi guys, I'm looking for advice on beginning golf. I want to get a cheap set to start with. I went to Jalan Jalan Japan in Bangi with a friend and it seems you can put together a set of clubs and a bag for around RM500 there.

Is there a better option?

Also, I my daughter wants to join me at the range. She had a go with my friend's clubs and seemed to enjoy it but the clubs were too long/heavy for her. Can I get her an individual club somewhere for her to try out with?

Hey, I've been there a few times to tee off indoors with my friends and overall it was a great experience. Their simulators are pretty realistic. Friendly staff. Reasonable price and they serve good food (one of the reasons I go there) Hope this helps!

Has anyone here played UPM? How does it compare to Danau?

I'm new to golf. Just started playing 18 recently.

UPM would be more easy for beginner compared to Danau. Has been years since I last played at Danau anyway. The most recent I played at UPM was in April with a friend. Good luck and be careful with the buggy at UPM as it is not really in great condition.
