Rogol anak saudara tiri

user posted image

SUBANG JAYA – Seorang lelaki layak digelar binatang apabila tergamak merogol anak saudara tirinya.

Black Monday Meltdown And Bill Gates: Billionaires’ Wealth Plummets In ‘Great Fall Of China’ As Rich Lose Billions

user posted image

For the world’s billionaires, this week is already proving rough. The Chinese stock market dropped 8.5 percent Monday, the biggest single-day decline since 2007, and the world’s 400 richest people lost about $124 billion collectively. Chinese billionaires lost more than $14 billion of their net worth Monday alone, while the Shanghai composite index dropped by another 7.6 percent Tuesday, Bloomberg reported.

Wang Jianlin, the richest person in Asia and chairman of the Dalian Wanda Group, was the hardest hit. He lost $3.6 billion Monday, more than any other billionaire. Of that, $2 billion was lost when shares of the Dalian Wanda Commercial Properties Co. sank 17 percent since going public in December. Another $1 billion in losses came from declines in the Wanda Cinema Line Co.

Workaholic South Koreans to take more time off

user posted image

SEOUL — Mr Park Hee-jung, a 34-year-old pharmaceutical researcher, took an 11-day holiday in May to travel to Croatia and Bosnia with his girlfriend — a relatively long vacation inconceivable for many South Koreans who remain world-champion workaholics.

“It was so good to take a long vacation, but I am stressed out again because of the mountains of work,” said Mr Park.

“The company encourages us to take annual holidays, but there are not many people who take them all.”

Mr Park is among the country’s younger generation that is seeking a work-life balance, but even he usually takes up fewer than half of his allotted annual holidays. He is not alone.

Workers in South Korea — home to the longest working hours and highest suicide rate in the developed world — took only 8.6 days of holidays last year on average, the lowest among the 24 nations surveyed by online travel agency Expedia, compared with the global average of 20.5 days and France’s 30.7 days.

May represented Vietnam at Miss Universe 2013 in Russia.

The title is given annually by PETA on PETAAsiaPacific.com to promote the immense health and cosmetic benefits of going vegetarian.

Big relief as Selangor gets water from Pahang for first time

user posted image

SHAH ALAM: Raw water from Sungai Semantan in Pahang to Sungai Langat in Selangor was channelled for the first time on Monday to boost its declining capacity.

State Infrastructure and Public Utilities, Agriculture Modernisation and Agro-based Industry Committee chairman Zaidy Abdul Talib said it was done after the Selangor and Pahang governments agreed on the channelling of 500 million litres of water a day (LPD) through the Pahang-Selangor Raw Water Transfer Project (PAMPS).

“The water from Sungai Semantan was pumped at 10.16pm (August 24) when the capacity of the Sungai Langat Dam dropped to 44.24%.

“A total of 300 litres per day was pumped for the first channelling process and flowed into Sungai Langat via a tunnel at 8.30am yesterday,” he said in a statement, here, today.

Australian Ron Schneider killed in Indonesia surfing accident

An Australian man has been killed in a surfing accident in the Mentawai Islands in Indonesia.

Mentawai Resort Police head AKBP Reko Indro Sasongko told the Jakarta Post that Ronald Stephen Schneider, 54, died on Tuesday when a wave slammed him into a rock at South Sipora.

His body is reportedly in Dr. M. Djamil General Hospital and is being prepared to be sent to Australia.

The husband and father of three from Sawtell, about 10 kilometres south of Coffs Harbour, was on a surfing trip with a group of friends, who were all members of the Sawtell Boardriders.

“We will all miss you Ron. A great bloke who would do anything to help the club out,” the president of Sawtell Boardriders Mark Hodgson wrote on the group’s Facebook page accompanied by a photograph of the long boarder.

Mum caught breastfeeding baby while driving tells cop ‘he screams out of control when he’s hungry’

user posted image

A mum caught breastfeeding a baby while driving on a busy road told a police officer she did it to stop her child’s “out of control” screaming.

The woman was stopped by a traffic officer following reports of a small child in the driver’s seat of a car on a highway just outside Seattle in the US.

But Trooper Rocky Oliphant, of Washington State Patrol, got a bit of a surprise when he approached the Honda Accord after making a “welfare stop” in Everett.

To his astonishment, on peering through the driver’s side window, he noticed that the woman was in fact breastfeeding a one-year-old baby behind the wheel.

He told the New York Daily News he had never seen anything quite like it.

Foam Party

user posted image

A foam party is a social event in which participants dance to music on a dance floor covered in several feet of suds or bubbles dispensed from a foam machine.

Foam parties can be dated back to A Rhapsody in Black and Blue, a 1932 short subject directed by Aubrey Scotto where Louis Armstrong dances, sings, and plays his trumpet in a large area of soap suds. Songs performed in the foam are “I’ll Be Glad When You’re Dead, You Rascal You” and “Shine”. Another film featuring foam parties is The Party featuring Peter Sellers.

Ten car companies sued over risk of carbon monoxide poisoning due to keyless ignition systems

user posted image

BMW, MINI, Mercedes-Benz, Fiat Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Acura, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Infiniti, Toyota, Lexus, Volkswagen and Bentley are all being sued by consumers in the US who claim that the 10 carmakers concealed the risks of carbon monoxide poisoning in more than five million vehicles equipped with keyless ignition systems. The risks, the plaintiffs claim, have led to 13 deaths.

According to Automotive News, the complaint filed in the US District Court in Los Angeles states that the toxic gas is emitted when drivers leave their vehicles running, sometimes in garages attached to homes, when they take their key fobs with them, under the mistaken belief that the engines will shut off automatically. They don’t, of course.

From the perspective of the drivers, they believe that the defendants, the car companies, had known the risks of keyless ignition for years, at least since 2003, and yet the companies marketed these vehicles as safe.

Vietnamese tycoons help protect Vietnam economy

user posted image

HANOI: Soldier-turned-tycoon Nguyen Huu Duong is a fierce patriot still fighting to protect his country, four decades after battling American forces in the Vietnam War.

The construction mogul has amassed a war chest of tens of millions of dollars to fight for greater independence for Vietnam’s economy and counter an invasion of a different kind: Chinese goods.

Rapid growth in Vietnam is masking a chronically ill small-business sector that the rags-to-riches entrepreneur says is suffocated by a multi-billion dollar influx of cheap, mass-produced goods from China, under-cutting domestically produced items.

Duong has a rescue plan he says isn’t a swipe at China, but a nurturing of startups, enticing them with free 50-year leases in his Hanoi mall “V+” – if they sell only Vietnamese-made products.

Turkish man charged for the bomb attack in Bangkok

user posted image

Thai authorities have detained and charged a 28-year-old Turkish man in connection with a bomb attack in Bangkok last week that killed 20 people and wounded scores more.

It is the first arrest in connection with the August 17 bombing at the Erawan shrine in the capital’s bustling downtown district, which killed mostly Asian visitors, in Thailand’s worst single mass-casualty attack.

About 100 police and military officers – including at least a dozen bomb disposal specialists – gathered outside a block of flats in Nong Chok district on the eastern outskirts of Bangkok where the man was arrested on Saturday in possession of bomb-making equipment and multiple passports.

‘We believe that the suspect was involved with the bombing’ at the shrine, national police spokesman Prawut Thavornsiri said on a live televised broadcast on Saturday evening.

Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez & More attended MTV VMAs with Best Dressed Ever

user posted image

Undercooked hamburger dresses and purple pasties aside (ahem, Lady Gaga and Lil’ Kim), there are a handful of styles from VMAs past that turned heads for the rightreasons.

Chief among them, Selena Gomez delivered her usual jaw-dropping style with a sizzling twist, serving up this exposed-bodice Atelier Versace number at the 2013 show. Adorned with glistening embellishments and an up-to-there side slit, the ensemble juxtaposed sex appeal with slick sophistication, making for one unbeatable look.

At last year’s fête, Jennifer Lopez practically ignited the red carpet with a glittering cutout Charbel Zoe Couture gown. The look fit seamlessly with J.Lo’s ultra-hot style motif and—of course—once again showcased her ageless physique.
Beyoncé made heads turn in 2011 when she stepped out in a fiery draped Lanvin number, but not just because the look itself stunned. No, the real shock value here was what was under the gown—her baby bump, obviously, which confirmed that the singer was expecting her first child.

Action will be taken against the Bersih leaders, Said Zahid

user posted image

Police are monitoring the leaders as well as all speeches made during the Bersih 4 rallies across the country, Home Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said today 30 August 2015.

He added that action will be taken against the leaders over the previously-declared “illegal gathering”. Zahid said although there had been no arrests thus far, it did not mean police and the Kuala Lumpur City Hall officers have not been doing their work.

He said police could still take action after the rally under the Peaceful Assembly Act and other regulations. “I agree with the Inspector-General of Police, ‘berani buat, berani tanggung’ (Malay proverb which translates to ‘dare to face the consequence of his or her actions’) “Don’t accuse the police of ‘cruelty’ (kezaliman) for the action. “This is not a warning and not just a promise, action must be taken,” he told reporters after launching the Ipoh Timor Umno delegates meeting in Ipoh today.

Bersih declares fourth rally a success, claims half a million turnout

user posted image

KUALA LUMPUR — Electoral reforms group Bersih 2.0 declared today (Aug 31) its fourth and biggest rally a success, claiming that as many as 500,000 people had participated in the two-day event that took place peacefully here at the heart of Malaysia’s capital city.

Bersih 2.0 chairman Maria Chin Abdullah said Bersih 4 was a “historic” achievement that proved a mass protest does not necessarily have to end in violence.

“It is our greatest achievement… a very historic event.

“Let it be documented that the event was very peaceful and that despite the number of crowd we dispersed exactly at the stroke of midnight,” Ms Chin told a press conference here.

Ms Chin said the massive turnout was also proof that Malaysians backed Bersih 2.0’s demands for institutional reform.

The controversial East Klang Valley Expressway (EKVE) highway project had been given the go ahead, after being approved by the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) back in August 12.

Now, according to the Malaysian Insider, groundworks for the EKVE at Jalan Ukay Perdana (UKP) in Ampang, Selangor, will commence today (September 1).

“The project will start with the widening of Jalan Ukay Perdana from two lanes to three lanes on the dual carriageway. During the project the concessionaire must ensure that there is no disruption to the traffic flow in the area,” said MPAJ president Abd Hamid Hussain.

Taiwan ‘porn star’ travel cards sell out amid controversy

TAIPEI – Thousands of prepaid travel cards featuring a popular Japanese porn star sold out in a matter of hours in Taipei on Tuesday, despite a groundswell of objection from women’s groups and politicians.

All 30,000 commuter cards featuring Yui Hatano were sold by 4:18 am local time after going on sale at midnight, the EasyCard Corporation said in a statement.

The two versions of the cards — “Angels” and “Demons”, both bearing a photo of the adult film star and priced at Tw$500 ($15.40) — were limited to telephone sales only, after the distributor reached a compromise that kept the product out of stores.

Google’s self-driving cars hit the road in Austin, Texas

user posted image

Google is taking its self-driving cars outside of Silicon Valley for the first time, reports The Verge. The tiny vehicles are now being tested in Austin, Texas.

While Texas does not currently have legislation on autonomous vehicles – unlike Nevada, Florida, Michigan and California – Google worked with Austin’s local government to test-drive the Lexuses this summer. A new round of testing is set to begin in the next few weeks.

The vehicles will come equipped with a removable steering wheel, accelerator and brake pedals in case of emergency.
