so here's the deal, we've all heard about the notorious reputation of poor after sale service of ASUS, lemon unit of LENOVO, best service from DELL and ILLEGEAR. Then i ponder, what about msi???? cause im thinking about buying msi pe60 for its glorious screen over y50 and v15

Whats your opinion about msi after service? Do share your experience~ thanks

ps, what about acer? heh

so far.. Dell Malaysia is the best warranty service offer..
Illegear also very reliable.. doest mean wan compare.. but... Dell and Illegear warranty service is good.
Msi more or less like Asus.. but the worse is Lenovo.. pretty hard wanna claim.

bro please make it clearly! lenovo warranty service is damn fast and good for its desktop and thinkpad. even the 1299 desktop ideacentre q190 it gave the best warranty! i call to claim the warranty and the next day it's technician come to my place and replace the mbo without any charges(exactly time is less than 24 hours, i call 3pm and he came at 12pm on the next day) icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif

How about msi?
Are most the msi products solid enough that don't (or seldom) need an after sale service ?
How abt msi compare with illegear in terms of quality? (not after sale service , i know illegear does pretty well in this)
Any idea which one usually has more problems that need to take it for service?

MSI, DEll and Lenovo from my point of view. I have used alot of the different types laptops and i found them to be the ones with alot of problems. the only ones i find worth buying is the Asus ROG laptops and Illegear laptops to be honest.

using it since march, i upgrade it to 12GB ram, built quality quite good but fingerprint magnet chassis, cooling system is silent even max load but the temperature is quite high, for some game such as nfs:most wanted it will reach abive 75 when i using the max setting. start up time is quite impressive even i just use stock hdd but start to slow down after using this few month even i just allow antivirus and graphic card driver to start up with my windows 8.1. maybe due to store too much of thing inside this harddisk. ssd confirm will solve this problem but currently i out of budget...

(personally complaint:no very stable with logitech gaming software make my mouse marcos sometimes no function, even i start it it's progress is running but my mouse is not detectable, one game call warframe is also no stable with it, sometimes will crash even dota2 also like this but maybe due to network speed also)

and lastly mine one is jm which gtx860m and lousy tn panel which same as lenovo y50 panel....

MSI service so far so good la.. at least they responsible and update the status of warranty unit, also return a unit within the period as promised.
