Buyer are at the bottom of the list to get back $$..

1st one are the Banks, follow by contractors..usually buyers get zero and still in debt with bank loans

i thought this is rent to own, buyer no need to take bank loan and can decide buy later??

Phase one n two buyer are deposit + bank loan but due to bad sales (due to no swimming pool and no free carpark) they decided to come out with rent to own

Buyers please unite and sue the Maju management. Give a lesson to that arrogant young director. He is still living a lavish life, having personal driver and chef while buyers all suffer.

Got any contractor here with developer contra unit? My family have project with them, however they contra us 1 unit, as our case, the debt ald more than 6 year and might turn to bad debt if we did not accept their contra unit…just in case if the project abandon and we still not accept their offer, the money will gone but if accept it, what can do is just wait the project abandon and wait for new developer take over the project?

Any advice on this?

Catch 22, accept and likely you will need to top up sum when rescue developer/contractor take over, not accept and turn into bad debt mean you will need to write off the debt from your book-do u still wish to pursue that will matter most

but the ASM refuse provide balance sheet. previously we do business with one of subsidiary company (company A) of Maju group, however when the project done, they close down the company A and register now company ASM Developer (KL), they only provide 1 letter from company A ask us to accept 1 contra unit on tower 6 but not from ASM developer.

just in case that, if we signed the SPA and the project take over by others developer, is the SPA recognize?

I think you better engage reputable lawyer for advice. This gang are famous for the wrong reasons. Before Covid already facing issues, now somemore after Covid icon_question.gif Econpile had a legal case against one of their companies.
