So my problem is that over the past few days, the internet has been really slow up to the point where I can't even load a 5 minute YouTube video. I know that my quota is finished BUT this is the first time in two years that I'm experiencing such terrible speeds during the course of the whole day! I used to be able to get a steady 100+kbps download speed after quota is finished during off peak hours. I also tried asking for help or solution from the Maxis Twitter handle but to no avail so I'm hoping to have better luck here...

0.33Mbps is about 338Kbps, what to complaint while it should be maximum of 128Kbps?

" Every Wireless Broadband and Home Wireless Internet plan has a monthly quota limit. When you reach it, your broadband connection will be managed to a lower speed. The speed for the 3GB and 8GB plans will be managed to 64kbps. The other plans will be managed to 128kbps. You will see a notification page similar to the image below the next time you connect."

As I have said, its the first time in 2 years that I'm experiencing such speeds after quota has been reached. And the result shown in the picture is not an accurate indicator as what is shown is the maximum capability whereas when you try to download something it never reaches anything near that speed

so what?

they have already clearly stated that minimum 128,
they have all the rights to give you any speed that is above 128...
it does not breach the contract

and on that note, even Unifi can impose quota on all Unifi packages anytime in the future,
as they have stated it is for a limited time
