If i'm not mistaken after 800 series or 900 series. the *50 series is considered to be gtx.

ASUS has weaker processor.. very weak compare to 7447

doesn't seem to be that much weaker. and since he is talking about gaming, the difference will be even less in terms of FPS.

nice, but stil for gaming,the k501 is still gonna push higher frame rates simply because of how these laptops will be bottlenecked by gpu and not cpu. and the fact that the k501 is only 2.5k sweetens the deal even more. Can upgrade to 12gb ram and an m.2 ssd and still be below 3k, and will still be able to use the 1tb int hdd. I really dont see any reason why anyone with a 3k budget go for any other laptop for gaming

Bro 850m n 950m different very little.. if u oc 850m tats no different... btw 7447 can put 16GB ram... but no m2 SSD slot..

However it can use HDD candy.. n best part warranty won't void... at the end of days see wat buyer wan lo... if talk bout aftersales... we know how bad ASUS is... but k501 do hv better design than 7447... but I7 ulv can performance better than i7-4710HQ?

i didn say the perf will be better, i just said gaming wont be that different,but most probably the one with the 950m will hit higher frame rates dimply because of the slightly higher clocked gpu. Again, cpu perf barely matters for majority of the games out there. As long as the cpu is of a certain level of performance, it doesnt matter anymore already.
and we all know, a bigger difference comes from having an ssd compared to oodles of RAM. and the fact that u can use BOTH ssd and hdd simultaneously without going for caddies and whatnot, is a great option imo... not to forget the larger screen size

As I said, depends on buyer lo... I oso hope dell come out quad core 15inch Inspiron... 7548 got look but raw power not enough... n new aw hot if buy 970m...

hi, suggest you can have another choice, MSI quite famous in gaming. MSI GE60 2QD with i7 processor, Nvidia GTX950 graphic card, 1TB HDD, built in steel series keyboard, killer lan, dynaudio, built in extra 1 SSD slot (can upgrade in future) and provide other gaming features needed. should consider..
