Anyone have any idea how would they charge on the advance payment of RM80 when upgrading from first 38 to gold 80?

Will they ask to pay rm 80+6% over the counter when upgrading the plan at blue cube, or the rm80 advance payment will be charged on the next coming bill together with pro-rated, making the total current charges very high on that particular month due to extra RM80 advance payment.

I called celcom careline twice both have different story. I have yet to check with blue cube though.

Seems like celcom finance and billing department is chaotic then. They don't seems to have a tandard billing for advance payment. I remember when I was switching from exec 50 to first 38, I was asked to pay rm38+6% over the counter. The rm38+6% payment is listed in the next bill, advance payment is charged, and discount is given at the same time to even out the bill.
