Celcom starting to disappoint a bit in Kuantan.. Sigh

I notice the slow due to 4G. I set it to 3G much better now.

4G is back and speed is perfect

My area always dropped out of signal, or suddenly internet speed loss

Next day straight away up complain to Celcom CS, next two days my speed is back up to normal again.

Third time then complain with CFM lor

I using 2 celcom line.1 almost 9yrs and 1 just 1yrs.b4 this the line is the best.but now is slow.

So far disppointed with the service.im using note 4 at my work place but signal only get 3g/h+(area 4g).testing digi using same phone can get 4g signal and i can surf without it jumping between 3g/h+.

Need to test more with digi.but so far good.only can mnp 1 account only as 1 more still have contract with celcom.i think celcom need to upgarde their tower to substain the load their have include  from their mvo.

How about DiGi ? Having been a DiGi user forever from prepaid days when I was still in high school, DiGi really has improved so much the LTE doesn't loss out to Maxis 4G. In fact at where I'm staying in KL, DiGi LTE download speed is consistently faster than Maxis LTE.

I like how First Basic 38 is a low commitment plan. Despite the telco war, there isn't any plan yet that offers 3GB all-day data below RM40 and allows carry forward of the same amount of data, which is 3GB for this plan.

Also when more data is needed, can always add RM50 for another 5GB. I appreciate the flexibility of this plan keeping my monthly commitment as low as possible should I not exceed 3GB of data usage.

However, there's no denying that the network performance is really not satisfactory at the moment but I'll stay for a while more just because of this plan. Should there be no improvements by early next year then I'll start looking at other telcos.

Yes, don't forget about the many MVNO riding on Celcom. DiGi only has a few MVNO. Also DiGi already started their network upgrade exercise called "The Tomorrow Network" years ago so they are well prepared especially at times like this.

A little too late for Celcom to only start upgrading now but better than never.

Celcom is really "efficient" in collecting payment. Here is my story. On 17/05 I received an SMS telling me I have RM 86.70 overdue payment. On 18/05 (8.00 am) I made RM 90.00 for my overdue payment. On the same day (around 3.00 pm) I received an SMS telling me that my bill statement for May is available online with a total amount of RM 37.05. 

And yesterday (19/05) I received a call from Celcom credit agent asking me to make an immediate payment for RM 37.05.

Baru 1 hari dapat bil sudah dapat call dari credit agent suruh bayar cepat? Hahaha
