Dear forumers

Please take note of this number 03-4041 1171
They're a group of scammers. If they call you and ask for your card number, do not give - and if they read out YOUR card number to you during the call, end the call immediately and call your issuing bank to block the card. The bank should also not charge you for a replacement card as it's not your fault if your details were 'leaked'.

They have been in 'the business' for quite a while. If you do a Google search on this number they've been scamming (or charging/scaring) many people back then with insurance outstanding.


Now they have changed their modus operandi to - basically - "You pay RM 498, you get free waiver/interest-free on your credit card statements/account"

Do not fall for it. They are charging you by the company name "My Reward". The name was too vague/common that I could hardly find details on the internet.

i found this in my credit card statement as well, exactly RM 498 under My reward. Tried to call this number and the one pick up the call saying that this is for a travel package. However, I never recall that I did received any call from this number. Really no idea how this happened. The office is located in Sentul. Hopefully the bank can dispute this transaction.

Block your current card, contact your bank what is the dispute process. your bank will help you more than to help them.
