CONNECTION PROBLEM OR INVALID MMI CODE, Please help me sort it out

Hi guys, Salam Aidilfitri. I am currently use Samsung Galaxy S5 with my Hotlink number. What take my corcern is when sometimes I cannot connect to the network properly. For example at lockscreen shows My Maxis but when I use mobile data there is no traffic going on. I tried to manually select Maxis for my Network Operators but when I try to check my balance it just dont work. It shows error stating Invalid MMI Code or No network connection. Please sort it out for me. 8960011407187996062 is my number on my sim card.

Hi Sir/Madam,
Would need your assistance on below problem i facing.
When I tried to use *100#, I can access to the menu (but when to select the option availble, this message is popup "Connection problem or invalid MMI code".
The phone i am using currently is Xiao Mi, with dual sim card function.

Started having CONNECTION PROBLEM OR INVALID MMI CODE hwen i dialed *100# recently. Also cannot receive call bcoz go straight to voice mail. SMS fine though. Please help.

Please help. Hi there, Quick check, have you cropped your SIM card before? If so, kindly have it replaced with a new one. Cropped SIMs can caused such connectivity issues. Thank you.

Thank you. I never cropped my sim. Never mind, problem solved. I think it happen because I forced my hp to 4g only while 4G signal not available. When 4G signal available everything work fine. I'll just set it back to auto.
