it was old method to clear cmos because the memory used was stored similar to ram, power gone = password gone, people seldomly put password on bios tho.. not sure if newer mobo have better memory ic that can keep the password..This post has been edited by flazeroth4th: Jul 16 2015, 10:50 PM
