What mod and batteries are you using? What are you specifically asking? Lowest safe ohms to go?

Let us know what mod and batteries you're using. Makes it easier for us to make a suggestion. Lower gauge wires will require more power and if you do not have enough wraps on your coil the ohms may be too low for your mod/battery to handle. Do you own an ohm checker?

You should consider getting a Temperature Control (TC) mod. Its the latest rage now. If your buddies switch to TC mods then you'd be left out if you have a Subox. Then you'd have to spend money again. The eVic VT should take care of your needs for the near future. Its new and shiny enough. But don't buy the complete kit, just the mod. Should be around RM240.
The other thing is size. The eVic is larger than your Cloupor Mini so its not so pocket friendly.
Me? I've mostly set aside my larger mods. I prefer small pocket friendly gear. My next set up will be the IPV D2 paired to a Goblin Mini. Theres no reviews on the IPV D2 as its not released yet. Don't know if its good or bad.
The D2 is RM245 in the group buy here. Goblin Mini is RM105 from Vape It.
Keep your Cloupor as spare. Wait for the Kangxin KX40D chip to be available then switch the chip. Then you'd have a second TC mod.

The X Cube is quite big. Smok doesn't have a good track record with TC devices. You'll just have to wait for user reviews on it. The Smok M65 that I own is the worst mod I have.

Edit: If you like big mods then go for the IPV 4S or IPV 3 Li V3. RM 299 and RM 329 from Vape It.

Is the cotton too tightly packed? If so, thin it out a bit for higher VG.

No worries. You're gonna find Zephyrus/UD fanboys here. Here's a tutorial vid you should really look at. Note the coil leg placement. Also states to use less cotton in juice channels for higher VG juices.

You'll get hot legs if the coil is too far from the posts. If you want to have your coils far from the posts then its better to use NR-R-NR wire. Non resistance - Resistance - Non resistance. Fasttech sells NR-R-NR wires.

Loads of China mods claim to have Yihi chips. But its mostly cloned chips. Yihi stated that the SX350 range of chips would not be sold to any China company.

Unless you're really burning to buy a mod now why not wait to see what the DNA 200 has to offer? I'm pretty sure China companies especially Yihi is gonna counter with a whole new range of mods.

First thing is your battery. What type are you using? Sometimes the shop will sell you batteries totally unsuited for your mod. Do you have an external charger? You switched to vaping for your health so you'd better learn the safety aspects first. It's for your health as well. Lol
