I bought a 40" LED TV last year. Not even 1 year, I noticed several dust specks under the screen. They can't be wiped since it's squeeze between the layer of the LED screen.

At first I thought they are dead pixels. But upon close examination from different angles, they looked like dust particles stuck inside the screen. I ignored them since from my viewing distance I can't see them. Last week I noticed there was another dark dot on the TV. I thought it must be small insect or dirt but when I tried to removed it, it won't bulge. It's another speck of dust the size of 1-2 pixels.

I can see it even when I view the TV 5-6 feet away in white background. Called Sony and they sent 2 technicians to check whether those dots are dead pixels or dust. The technicians inspected it and said those dark spots are not dead pixels and said this issue is not covered in the warranty. So they won't do anything about it.

I'm wondering if there are techniques to remove the speck of dust inside the screen by myself? I'm trying to softly knock the screen with my fingertip hoping the dust will fell below or at the edge of the screen but no dice so far.

Pretty sure it's not something leaking. It's not solid and black either. It's LED backlight penetrates the greyish matter, just like dust.
