QUOTE(win44 @ Sep 29 2015, 03:37 PM) I tried opening an account with TradeKing, hv u read this thread i suggested? But it said it is only for US citizens or those living in USA with social security number. Do any of you use tradeking? It merged with Zecco, so i cant use that either. Any good alternatives? https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2378747/+60#bottom many are using ameritrade, interactive brokers, etc. the info links are found in that thread. |

All these discount brokers are slowly being swallowed up. |

QUOTE(mikehwy @ Sep 30 2015, 12:00 AM) sometimes it takes while to change, low volume.just refresh if necessary. but is correct, i'm quite sure. the one in yahoo changes even less frequent, too much lag. refresh does not do much! This post has been edited by AVFAN: Sep 30 2015, 12:09 AM |

just shorted crude again. usually this kind of news... effect already priced in, does not last long.
will see what happens tmrw with data released after closing. gudnite. QUOTE Industry group American Petroleum Institute will issue a weekly report on U.S. inventories after Tuesday's market settlement at 4:30 p.m. EDT (2030 GMT). A preliminary Reuters poll on Monday said U.S. crude stockpiles likely fell 500,000 barrels last week, a third straight week of drawdowns. Genscape, a market intelligence firm, has also alluded to lower stockpiles by suggesting a draw of about 1 million barrels last week at the Cushing, Oklahoma delivery point for U.S. crude inventories. |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Sep 30 2015, 03:01 AM) for some time now, wti-brent price differential has been quite big due to us shale oil production and oil export ban.recent dropping us rig count and draws on the inventories point to crude production has slowed. the wti-brent gap is starting to close up lately. the question is.... is us production really slowly and will that help keep wti price up? or will the overall global supply glut vs weak demand push prices down again soon? i think the latter is more likely. QUOTE(AVFAN @ Sep 30 2015, 10:50 AM) for some time now, wti-brent price differential has been quite big due to us shale oil production and oil export ban. they are now talking about more pressure on OPEC to cut production. This thing will come eventually, just a matter of time. Simply because OPEC countries are suffering, how long can they take it? Not likely 10 years or so, they just too dependent on oil earnings.recent dropping us rig count and draws on the inventories point to crude production has slowed. the wti-brent gap is starting to close up lately. the question is.... is us production really slowly and will that help keep wti price up? or will the overall global supply glut vs weak demand push prices down again soon? i think the latter is more likely. |
