EKC's BlkJ, H and E are HDA covered, as confirmed by buyers. Vempire is not HDA covered...(Hence, VP of EKC is not in CCC style)....I don't wish to continue any saga about Vempire vs EKC

HDA = LAD is applicable

Block E is 38storeys... and due to duplex configuration, is like slightly more than half of the height of Block J & H which is 60 storeys equivalent.

Block H & J = Duplex, almost double volume ceiling
Block E = Normal single volume ceiling

No point talking about LAD where nothing is delivered yet.

It will better if EKC focused on deliver good product.. get a good retail tenant mix for the mall etc....

Breaking: GSC will be in EkoCheras, more than 90% confirm...

good to see things higher than the fence. how long more before need LAD? about 55 storeys to go. but the tough part: basement and piling. looks done

Yup....After Leisure Mall and MyTown(located next to Jln Cheras)...
Leisure Mall has only 4 halls, limited in supplying the Cheras market.
My guess, GSC of EKC can operate as sibling cinema complementing Leisure Mall, like MV-Garden, BTS-Pavilion. If Leisure Mall tickets fully sold out, come to EKC and vice versa.
Mutiara Barat MRT station can serve as one stop of GSC cinema, for commuters from Kajang/Cheras Selatan (I know Kajang/Cheras Selatan have cinemas but not GSC)

why Propcafe yet to release part 3 of Ekocheras story as promised?

The anchor tenants for Ekocheras mall still unknown other than this alleged GSC. Too many malls in Klang Valley and there is high chansi this Ekocheras mall will fail if the tenant mix is lousy

yeah.. GSC Leisure Mall is small and i hope that GSC EKC (if confirmed) can have more screens to serve the needs of cheras folks..

the cinema operator at Cheras Selatan is actually TGV

LFS in Kajang.

TGV in Cheras Selatan and Cheras Sentral. Besides, TGV also presents at Shamelin and The Mines(maybe Velo), making TGV the largest operator in Cheras.

In Cheras or nearby, MBO only operates at Viva but stopped from entering Damai Perdana (of Cheras Selatan)

Cathay is eyeing Cheras Selatan and not sure finalized

CGV is too new at the moment.

So, from the above scenario, one cadidate for EKC is GSC.

Back to KL, all GSC cinemas are with at least 10 halls to capture the market, except for Leisure Mall(LM) and Garden(while My town TBD). The Garden GSC has its MV sibling to "top-up" for battle.
The LM GSC also needs a sibling to complement. If EKC has GSC, it can accommodate 8-or-9 halls, making the LM+EKC "loaded" to capture Cheras + Kajang market.
