You need to be an AOW to do rescue. Also you need a minimum number of dives to be able to take up rescue course.

As for technical dives, you will also need some experience before you can go into it. I'm not sure about the requirements but most people I know who goes into technical are quite experienced divers. After you do your AOW and gain some experience, take up your rescue and technical. smile.gif

Where did you take your NAUI OW cert? laugh.gif
What made you wanna go into technical diving?
That price is pretty good. With or without equipment rental? Rooms got AC ah? tongue.gif
Raya a lot of ppl or not?

I did it under my University Program. It was in Pulau Perhentian, 3 days 2 night just about rm6xx in total.

Not much of a reason, just wanted to challenge myself more. Just $$ issue sweat.gif

For diving, $$ and time is always an issue. Its not a rushing thing, you have a life time ahead of diving.
by the way, specialty is not technical.
Go for advance first and slowly dive around, too many places to dive.

Yeah... Just recently having ample time due to internship so wanna spend the time properly... but again the $$$ issue haha

Glad to know that you enjoyed. But it should be better. To me it was a horrible course managed by the instructor and only on the last day that I knew that there's only 1 real instructor. Other than that was the instructor 'helper'. If I knew it since the first day, I'll banned them straightaway. Gosh. Course conducted in a miserable and dangerous way. This is solely my opinion as the person in charge of managing your tanks and boats around the island.

If this reply is inappropriate, I will delete it with no hard feeling.  =)

Just wondering who are you now hmm.gif hmm.gif

Yeah... safety was an issue during that time, but so far the "helper" do have instructor license too, so it was fine. My batch have like 4 helper with 1 "real" instructor. So it was okay

How many students in total?

24, but we split into 2 session, 12 each. Anyway it is messy cause Major like to instill "discipline" and let us learn how to manage ourselves.

Looking forward to your experience with seaventures smile.gif
Care to elaborate further?  Thanks...

He like to leave us to arrange ourselves (before diving) with minimum instruction, let us organizes ourselves. Then come and bash us at the end... hahaha... We were like clueless anyway
