Happy friday guys, can any of you guys recommend a place to get a PADI Open Water licence thats affordable? I'm planning to take it up alone since either no friends willing to follow or most of them have took their licence already.

Yeah they are quite short. About same length as my old fins which were also short.

Although they are about the same size, one is much heavier: 1.45kg for the PP and 0.85kg for the F2.

Got lazy and left my weights in the gear box when I was tipping it over. The weights slid down faster than I expdcted and slammed a hole in the side of the box

The club I usually dive with charges $12.50 per tank, with volume discounts ($100 for a 10-fill card, $500 for a 100-fill card). They charge the same price for air and nitrox so I usually dive nitrox.

I bought my own tank, a second-hand Faber 10.5L for $300. It's troublesome and costly if you don't have your own, as you have to drive to the dc to rent a tank ($20) the day before or on the day itself, and send it back after the dive. The downside of owning a tank is sending it for an annual inspection which costs I think $50.

The tank itself depreciates very little, I expect to sell it for no less than $250-300 when I'm done with it.

Didn't get the chance to use it for diving this time, but did freedive at one of the most beautiful mini trench in Malaysia.

The fin feels really nice on my foot, i literally feel like it had become part of my leg. Perfect multipurpose fin to those all-rounder who loves snorkel, freedive and scubadive. Not so big and not too small but still delivers good amout of power.
