If you open a thread, consider self moderation. If you can't self moderate your topics, and there are unwanted comments, the entire thread will be removed.

What you posted is the personal opinion of your friend, which is why it was posted on her FB, and not on a public forum. If she is really your friend, you should respect her personal opinion on her personal FB wall instead of trying to make it available for public consumption.

Threads are closed when and if they deviate, and becomes a platform for spreading false news/rumours. We are not closing/removing threads that provide genuine information and verified updates (not updated from fb, uncle, auntie, toilet cleaner etc).

Well, not just the newspapers. If its from social media, check the source, instead of just blindly copy paste. If its someone you know, double check before posting it up to verify that they actually had first hand information, not just passing along the message from an unknown sender/source.
