Cigarette lighter's current draw <10amp and amps current draw is >10amp. You can power an amp using it, later the whole thing burn down don't blame anybody..... Think you never see a high power electrical appliance not powered properly. I have tried using extension wire to power a 2000watt oven, it still works only after 1 hours of usage i got ELCB tripped and the extension wire melted with some burnt smell. That's another reason why certain thing needs thin wire and some need thick wire.
