QUOTE(king99 @ Nov 16 2006, 05:12 PM) Hi...I juz been to my friend's house to see his C2D setup..Surprisingly his E6300 is cooler then mine by 5-10c..He said he apply a second layer of paste...Should I do that cuz I juz take the heatsink and put into the processer. just a few reminder for you, make sure you compare the temp using the same software (suggest TAT), make sure the surrounding temp for yours and your fren's does not deviate too much, make sure his E6300 sits on DS3 not other mobo. as your HSF's ori thermal paste is new so i don think the temp will vary for 5~10. the most is 3~5.

Guys, I need a bit help here. I also need a new CPU heatsink for my DS4 + LGA775. Price doesn't matter and I wan the heatsink to be 1) Full copper (yes, including the fin would be perfect) 2) Can do combo cooling like Gigabyte G-Power Pro/Lite can do. (this is important because if u know the design of DS4 it cools the mosfet and chipset down like 2~3 degree.) google alot and so far i only see thermaltake typhoon series with the requirement i wan, but does not look very nice. donno bout the performance too. Hope to get something like G-Power Lite. And I believe the XP-90c does not cool the surrounding also, am i rite Mr. shawty?!

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Nov 21 2006, 06:56 PM) Err, what do you mean by that? XP90C is just the same with XP120 [except the size] it'll blow the air direct to the motherboard, which means, it'll cool all the thing that is under the fins of the heatsink... erm, asking for your opinion lor. since you know more bout thermalright. so it does cool the surrouding yer? so basically xp120 and xp90c is the same just tat one is copper and one is not la hor?! you know where to get xp90c?
