U wan epoxy coating or flooring? If for pet i think u mean coating. Epoxy flooring is for where u need ~0° level flooring where i dont think normally applicable in home use...

Yes. This is what we called epoxy flakes coating.
For your information, all the epoxy are come from different chemistry form and for different function use. As for the epoxy flakes coating, the flakes make the covered area more aesthetic and thicker.

It is highly recommended for the interior design use based on the flakes color selection, water leakage(subjective to site condition), rough and smooth surface design and etc.
