Editing newbie need advice: extract audio from VCD

hi everyone please advice, i watched a concert in VCD, interested to extract one song (audio) to save as mp3, wav, (anything as long as can play in mp3 player). can anyone tell me any free software to use (if there's any)? saw some sofware in google but need to purchase.

hi bro...hahaha..been wondering to do it too...and today just found it... ok..go to this link... http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=280779but b4 that u need to hav a software called virtualdubmod ...can get it in this forum... they got the link here... but the audio that i get is very slow (volume)..any experts here know why?....any suggestion?...

After selecting "full processing mode", right click the stream & select "volume". Tick the box & adjust accordingly.
100% is "original" volume. Less or more than that, obviously you get the idea what it means.

people....thank you so much!!! did it...
only thing is that it extracted whole VCD....
i only need one song..
so the thing for me to do now is search forum and find out software for extracting from .wav right?
tq again!!

ya, VCDCutter , simple , easy ... i like v4.04  , newer version seems complicated to me
