Guys I just got my HSBC visa platinum card (the reward card). But recently stumbled across the thread in this forum.. Kinda worried now. Is it a good points card? Scare of annual fee can't waive also later... Anyone got any good/bad experiences with it?

can't say it is a good or bad card.

As long as it meets what you want, it is a good card, right? smile.gif

spend sometimes to read on, you'll pick up something along the way.

Any other CC have same function as OCBC Platinum? Which is the auto IPP where purchases over a certain amount will automatically be split into 3-6 months depending on amount.

aeon watami 3% for everything except petrol. min 12x swipes to waive af automatically. important requirement to activate the 3% rebate is to use the cc with min rm3k per quarter. max cb per quarter is rm150 which means a max usage of rm5k per quarter to fully utilise the cb.

HLB Essential 1% cashback unlimited for all spendings except petrol, min spending per mth to entitle cashback is RM100. Note that the rounding mechanism is similar to HLB Wise.

Personally I tagged my monthly insurance to it and has never failed to obtained 1% cashback from it.
