UOB One card. If you have achieved 30k per annum, then can also add in Maybank Ikhwan.

Better go for uob vox for online transactions
*
It depends. CIMB CR has no minimum transaction unlike VOX which is RM 50 in order to get cash back.
CIMB CR offers 2% cash rebate for standing instruction for certain bills.

Hi,

Alcohol is no problem. As they track based on MCC code. So eg, if you buy alcohol in Tesco, it will go through and count as groceries.  tongue.gif  biggrin.gif

Weekday petrol - MB VS,  HLB Wise, CIMB CR
Digi and TNB - HLB Wise, PBB VS Aeon Watami (must spend RM3000 in 4 months to get cashback)
*
Er.. One quarter is three months not four months.. sweat.gif

1. Annual Income: RM60K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Preferably no.

3. Card required for: Online purchase through taobao - RM 3k-5k per month in RMB.

4. Looking at CC from: CIMB rebate/UOB Vox/etc..
*
That aside, free lifetime annual fee, preferable no? laugh.gif

Anyway, as said by chiahau, VOX seems to be better. I have CIMB CR too and I have applied for VOX, once it is approved then I will cancel my CIMB CR.

Is there other alternative CC other than this 2 cards fall under online category?
*
Not all banks have but CIMB definitely has. smile.gif

I have recommended unlimited 1% - HLB Essential.

The cap is still low.
*
How much are you expecting? Most of the banks give RM 50. sweat.gif That's also most of the banks are revising the benefits, enjoy while you can.

Else you can see HLB Wise but you will need to swipe RM 50 x 10 to activate cash back.

Maybe he wants unlimited CB?

Something like no cap?

I think VS's cap for MBB is one of the highest one out there d.
*
If unlimited then 1% lo, HLB Essential.

QUOTE(Savor_Savvy @ Aug 8 2015, 04:32 PM)
Oh maybe Im expecting a lot from CC. Wanted to get points and exchange for something else or get some discounts when paying for petrol, utility bills or even loans.
*
You are not their only customer. laugh.gif Most of the users pay in full and on time, basically they don't really earn a lot. smile.gif

You can try MBB Visa Signature, income requirement is 100k per annum. It gives 88 bucks cash back.

FYI, loans cannot be paid with credit cards.

If you earn rm100k, you can apply for maybank vs and public bank vs.

Or you can consider hlb wise gold for telco, TNB, petrol. Hlb CB needs swipe min Rm50x10 times
Maybank ikhwan for groceries as maybank CB condition is only swipe on Fri and sat.
Can consider uob vox for unif pay at TM page.
If insurance, dont know.
*
For VOX to pay UniFi is still unverified yet, suggest not to recommend things which are not confirmed yet. So far verified is for Streamyx but not UniFi.

For insurance, can try Aeon Watami.

then you shouldn't put 60k-100k.
anyway, you have some choices depending of your monthly expenses in each category. you need to check your priority to maximise your cashback.
mbb ikhwan, cimb cr plat = af free for life
uob one, aeon watami = af can be waived
hlb wise = af covered by high cashback
*
Can't blame him la. That's the range given in second post. doh.gif

you must have missed out something?

i replied pbb vs to his first post when he put 60k-100k. second post only he said 70k-80k. lol...
*
You were the one missed it. doh.gif
Let me rephrase, he did nothing wrong. This is based on second post template, the range is from 60k-100k. He jut put it. 70k-80k also within 60k-100k right?
How would he know so much of things?

My Ikhwan card application was rejected. I don't have Maybank2card. Can suggest a card for groceries?
I have HLB Wise for petrol and dining.
*
You can try UOB One Plat for 2% groceries.
Or apply MACH and choose TrendSetter package for dining - 5%. Then change your HLB Wise package from dining to groceries. smile.gif
You have to weigh which is more useful to you. smile.gif

1. Annual Income:

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Could be either. Preferable Free For Life or min. swipe in order to waive AF.

3. Card required for: Mobile, Groceries, Dining, Utilities, Petrol, Insurance & retail.

4. Existing credit cards if any: MBB 2 AMEX/VISA, AEON MC, HL WISE

5. Looking at CC from: Unsure.

6. Others: I'm looking for a CB/Reward type CC that cover for my groceries, utilities, insurance & retail.

My current CC divided into following categories

HL WISE - Mobile, Petrol, Dining
MBB AMEX - TNB, Retail
MBB VISA - Retail that doesn't accept AMEX
AEON MC - For AEON store and PPL purpose.

Looking for CC that benefit me in the following categories.

??? - Utilities (TMNET, TNB)
??? - Insurance
??? - Groceries & Retail
*
For dining, why don't you change to MACH. Then spare HLB Wise for utilities.
Well, the only trade off is 5% vs existing 10%. Unless you dine super a lot, else I think MACH is a better option or maybe even PBB VS.
At least your TNB is covered now by Wise.

TM - Yet to be verified for UOB VOX. I have already tried but the result will only know on 30th September. So not sure if that gives 5% rebate.

Insurance - Aeon Watami if your spending is at least RM 3k per quarter. If it is difficult to achieve, you can chunk in your TNB, TM, retail and other expenses here.

Groceries - You can add MBB Ikhwan, that also gives you another slot for petrol. Else, you can also add in MBB VS.

Since you didn't put in your salary information, I will assume it is RM 100k and above which you can qualify for PBB VS and MBB VS.
