He was just complaining that they call him to offer but in the end reject him.

Not applicable to those who already have the card (or who successfully apply). He just letting of steam in the wrong thread.

1. Annual Income: RM60K. Willing to accept card with lower credit limit, as long as the benefits from the card are worthy.

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Preferable. Card with annual fee can be acceptable, if the annual fee can be offset with the card benefits.

3. Card required for: Dining. Occasional purchase of pharmacy (in Caring and Guardian), and clothing (Uniqlo and H&M).

4. Existing credit cards if any: Hong Leong Wise Card, Maybank 2 Cards, Maybank Islamic MasterCard Ikhwan Card.

5. Looking at CC from: None.

6. Others: Prefer cashback, but points is acceptable, if the points are worthy.

Thanks.

Nope. no credit cards accept PTPTN as utilities.

So, you gotta use a general cash back card.

Only AEON cards can be paid via PosOnline it is a credit service. Other banks still need to pay via GIRO or directly to the banks.
So, if you want to utilize PosOnline service, you will need to pay PTPTN with an AEON card.

Appreciate your input.

1. Annual Income: Est. RM40k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: either this, or waived with monthly swipes (not willing to pay)

3. Card required for: Petrol, groceries mainly, sometimes shopping

4. Existing credit cards if any: Maybank 2 Card GOLD

5. Looking at CC from: Any, thinking of Citibank Cashback/UOB One Card Classic

6. Others: prefer something with cashback most probably, since I don't spend much on other stuff plus MBB 2 Card treatpoints seems valueless.

Thank you.

Maybank Ikhwan MasterCard for your petrol and groceries. Shopping I still stick to my M2Cards AmEx Plat due to 5x, I don't have good general cash back card and my spending is not a lot.
