Recommended:
1. HLB WISE Card (RM50x10 swipe to qualify for 10% cash back)
2. MBB Ikhwan (free AF, but cash rebate for petrol and grocery on Friday and Saturday)

With these 2 cards, pretty much covered all your needs.

thanks for the pointers.

1. got already

2. will check out RHB VS. since i have a HL with them I should be instant-approved. need to read the details but the free for life no conditions is not bad. the caps are very low and the tear-bases system also not so great. if i spend 3500 to get 6% (capped at 35 RM) i only get 1% CB. even i would max out all cats i only get 3,42857142857143% CB max. while not bad it might be too complicated. might be a backup card though.

3. WISE will be to complicated to monitor + the annual fee drags it all down.

One of the thing that you need to consider is, VI comes with annual fee as opposed to MBB2 cards

Maybank Ikhwan MasterCard then. The rest have AF. smile.gif
HLB MACH card for dining and AF can be waived with just 12 swipes a year.
If you have at least RM 1k spending per month for other stuff, then can apply for Aeon Watami for general usage.

Also to note that for income below RM 36k, can only have two issuing banks' cards. smile.gif
