What's the battery size for Polo 1.6 Hatchback ?
Can we get 3rd party brands ? Where to fix it ?

My VW Polo bought in April 2015
Original battery died and replace for FOC on 16-Feb-2017
The replacement battery died on 5-Feb-2018 (less than 1 year from the replacement date above).

Volkswagen Service Center (Puchong/USJ) says CANNOT REPLACE because the battery warranty period is 24-months from purchase date.

That means any replacement battery within the first 24-months has ZERO warranty !! (if it was replaced on the 24th month). BEWARE such tactics !

Additionally, the standard 12-month warranty applies only if I paid for replacement battery

Can the VW Polo 1.6 use the OSRAM night breaker headlamp as replacement ?
