Dam i bought MSI GTX 980 again.

It has 80.4 asiq quality and Elpida Vram

I am surprised that i am running this card @1545Mhz and memory clock 3900mhz (7800mhz).

I can even push more further the vram but it is Elpida so i am scared to that.

GFE took forever to launch when I click it from taskbar, keep getting "not responding" message, have to wait for at least 30 seconds to launch the UI, and then click the tab will have to wait again for it to respond. So much freeze  yawn.gif

Is this same for you all or just me?  rclxub.gif

Because of nvidia backend problem.

Some people are totally wrong here. There is not even a card yet to max out new games at 1080p and maintain 60 fps. For example Rise of the tomb raider, The division, Hitman etc.

I should sell my 980ti before they announce the new gpu?
Or just stick with it for a few years. What do you think?

GTX 980 Ti for 1080p will last for 3 to 5 years if you compromise some settings.

Real gap was Maxwell from Kepler. Pascal has same DNA of Maxwell so the optimization will be done on both. However, on DX12 Nvidia is doing fine at the moment.
