Hahaha... I thought they were going for an all out new name. Not bad the 'new' naming. Never thought about using the roman numerals and seem like a good choice.

Can still be called 'X80' (ex eighty) or '1080' (ten eighty). So next is XI80 ? laugh.gif

The specs for GeForce X80Ti mouth watering. Can't wait to see in-game performance scores.

Why must everything have an "X".

X here X there. What's so great about the stupid letter? It's one of the most useless letters in the alphabetical table, vocabulary wise.

There's a short TED talk about why x became the standard letter representing an unknown, linked below

In short it is the English or Latin ver of the Greek letter x(chi) which was first letter of transliteration of Arabic word for something which was used in the original algebra texts

Nvidia Pascal spec and 3DMark leaked

http://techfrag.com/2016/03/18/nvidia-pasc...y-gddr5-memory/

http://wccftech.com/nvidia-pascal-3dmark-11-entries-spotted/

Guess I'll wait till the Pascal vs Polaris dust settles.

Hey guys.
My GPU just dead, gotta go for a quick replacement within these few days!
Any recommendations with the budget of RM500 plus minus 10%.
Note that I do video editing, music editing, lightroom cc, and some games like PES, and Football Manager =)

Your PSU (Xigmatek NRP602) in ur siggy? If my 550w PSU can survive both an overclocked i5 and 970, then I think your 600w PSU will have no issue.

Hi. Seeking help from fellow forumers here.

My Leadtek GTX 760 fan just died today. I can still use it to watch movies but it will overheat when I played games. Both fans died, unsure if it is due to connector or the fans itself.

Is there anywhere in KL that can fix GPUs?

I suggest you buy nzxt kraken g10 bracket. A bit expensive but worth it (in my book)
