I browse to some post and saw a forumer puts his webhost affiliate link in his signature.
Is this allowed?

To answer the question, no, we don't have any 'affiliate program' of any sort. But also, I don't see anything in that signature which constitutes an 'affiliate link'.

Yeah, which is why I believe you should report a post rather than open a thread here.

It is still there. Exabytes hosting affiliate link.
How to report, its not a post. Rather than a affiliate link in a signature.

I report because there is someone that trying to earn some money from web hosting affiliate system. Since we already have a thread at Garage Sales for web hosting company to advertise themselves, there is no need for this person to add this affiliate link in his signature.

If he is putting the affiliate link at his own site, its ok.

If admin is ok with this affiliate link, then just close this thread.

P/S : I don't know we can report this using report function, I thought report is only for something banned for certain post. Sorry. Cheers. biggrin.gif

Commercial advertising is a definite no-no and I've removed his signature. For those who are wondering.. the exabytes affiliate link is broken in Firefox, hidden behind one of his other pictures in the signature (had to whip up IE to view it).
