mine is second one.. Pioneer set. I checked the map information and it is Malsingmaps. I took out the Micro SD card which is inside the small slot and you need a screw driver to take it out.

The maps file extension is *.dat and not like Garmin map file extension .img

Any one successfult update the map and can share the steps how to update it ?

I update mine by downloading Garmin map file .img from openstreetmaps.

Backup the original .img and copy replace with new map file.
*
The original one is *.dat not *.img. Your model is Panasonic I think.
Mine is from Pioneer. If *.img I have no issue updating it since normally I do update my garmin device from MalFreeMaps.

it depends on your rim JJ (width)

standard 15' should be coming with 5-6JJ for a stock setup.

The max can go would be 195 but the side would bulge out.
*
Even with stock tyre CC5, the tyre look bulge out. So I wonder whether can it support 195. If yes, I would like to go for it.

live with it or change another HU that suits your requirement with expense of your pocket.

no other better option di.
*
Yea... I rather stick with my own Garmin unit. Before that thought all these from HU is much more convenient as I wont bring out the unit all the time.

my sister bought Jazz E spec. After comparing my Vios G Spec against my sister Jazz, interior quality wise, Vios is still better than Jazz.

Yes, the engine noise for Vios is still noisier than Jazz. In term of pick up, Jazz is the winner.

Vios door is easier to close, while Jazz door I felt difficult to close.

5k is good offer.
But free DVD-AVN will not make you happy.
- reverse image is slow to appear
- no lines on the image to indicate distance
- cannot play video while moving
Some more .. But later la

Yes, the player seem useless. What is the point if you are prevented to watch video while driving but it
is equipped with video player.
Unknown GPS navigation software. Do not have any idea how to update map even it is Malsingmaps (*.dat)
iAuto App store have roughly less than 15 apps.
System update always unavailable from iauto.com

I don't think the DVD AVN is standard for G.
I paid 2990 for it. But that was last year.
*
this is not a standard but since June promotion until August now, it is free for G and TRD Spec.

thought roof problem settle already? its only for 1st batch right?

engine mounting? whats wrong with it ya? care to share..
*
Can't really comment on the roof issue since I never take any ride of batches before. Most of the new batches this year already have one layer of sound proof material installed, the annoying molotin sound should be minimized.

As for engine mounting issue, when go through the speed bump especially those plastic type, u will hear the kok kok sound. This cannot be solved at the moment according SA.

Hi RoxyMunky,

I'm experiencing slight vibration when I press brake pedal after the speed of 40km/h ? Do your experience this in your car ?

I let Toyota SC check on this, according to them my disc rotor is still even and not sure what is the caused of this.
