Hi guys, new owner reporting in, got mine manual J at end of Dec. I have reported the following problem during 1k service:

1. Engine mounting problem, sound when passed through bump - sc replied its design is like this and is normal. The sound last appear after heavy rain, no sound at the moment, not sure if they did some adjustment.

2. Loud sound when reverse with manual transmission - sc replied it is normal for all manual transmission.

3. Exhaust mounting rusty - sc replied it is normal after compared with all cars. Anybody manage to get them to fix it by replacing or painting it?

Just returned from my 5k service, Toyota is offering 5 years warranty for new cars and an option to purchase extended 2 years warranty for existing car within 3 yrs/100k km at time of extended warranty purchase with 1 time free maxcheck advance service. This is valid from 1 Apr to 30 Sept only.

For vios, it is RM1590 to add the 2 years extended warranty. You guys still have time to think if it is worthy to buy it.

Managed to get these problems fixed for 2015 vios, might be helpful for you guys to refer if you have these problems.

1. Aircon dashboard panel right side larger gap - took 3 visits to completely fix it. 1st visit fixed but glove box panel not fit properly. 2nd visit fixed but result in air con still running even after turned off aircon knob.

2. Both rear wheel drums have rust spots, sc painted the spots.

3. Sc adjusted the door due to noise at right door when breaking and accelerating.

I went to MTR Automobile at Kajang

I'm using 2015 Vios J manual which has push start button. Did anyone experience unable to start the engine at first push? Sometimes the it did not start the engine and I need to try again.
