Hi guys, I'm new here. Planning to get a 2nd hand Toyota Vios 2011 model either E or J model with TRD bodykit for about 40 to 42k. Is the price okay? And is there anything i should check before making the purchase?

And between E and J model, which one has and which one doesn't have ABS yeah?

I dont drive far usually, so can i know is it ok to drag until i get 5k mileage even though 3 months has pass?

Dear All Vios 3RD GEN owner,

I just got my car 2015 Jun, seriously this car is not stable when you speed at above 120km/h or corner above 60km /h,

To cope with this problem, i upgrade as below

1. Tyre stock 185 / 60 / R 15 , 5.5 jj.....》》》195 / 50 / R 16, 7.5 jj,
7 jj is ideal but i like the rim and its only has 7.5jj


2. Front struct bar 3max, rear anti roll bar ultra racing

3. Often check your alignment.

Currently i feel my car steady than stock. Now i can speed below 140 no problem.
Caution, you will feel your car stiffer and dashboard yikyik sound will occur if you drive by uneven road because tyre is thinner than previous.

Future upgrade planning
1. GAB hi low soft hard adjustable

2. Stiff ring

3. Rear lower struct bar.

just wanna share experience using Eibach.. its a quite bumpy for front while rear is fine.. i already change front to new absorber but it just reduce a little bit bumpy only.. still bumpy but not obvious..

so if u really wanna use Eibach, front absorber i think need to use stiffer absorber coz OEM absorber not stiff enough which will make bumpy ride (even its a new absorber), they mention "suitable use with stock absorber" kinda unacceptable.. the reason i think its bumpy because OEM absorber design to absorb bump in the middle of it, while lowering it using Eibach spring will make it use mainly at upper section where for OEM absorber already bottom out the shaft..
so now after a few months using it i come to a few solutions
1. to inject the front absorber to make it harder which will make it operate nicely with lowered spring
2. change to adjustable with front 6k and 4k spring rate for daily use
3. try another sport spring

quite many on the list.. ur price range per tyre?

Looking for comfort (less noise) type tyre.. have 2 in my list.
Now eye on 195/55/R15

1) Bridgestone RE003
2) Michelin PS3

Feel free to comment and do proposed other brand of tyre as well.

if more to comfort can try PS3 which most expensive, or Goodyear Assurance TripleMax average and one more is those ECO tyre like EP200 etc which quite cheap due to ECO tyre..

for Comfort go for conti CC5. you can straight feel the diff.

Can Vios 07 crossmember be use to newer models?
