Wing and RB sorted
DM in the works.
CB and striker next?
Dead woods let go. More will follow. Rafael, Evans, Chica surplus surely(sadly, they were good for a while).

Would like a dribbler, but I guess we have to hope Di Maria works out. Wonder if having both Carrick and Schneiderlin, LVG will trust playing Di Maria in the middle of the park alongside both of them in some games.

DDG will go sadly. Damn him.

Don't think it was all down to woody.. More towards LvG asking them to come over.. Maybe Woody had more influence on the Darmian deal, but Depay and Basti were definitely persuaded by LvG

Well, he's the one involved in negotiations with clubs. He gets shits done. He deserve credits for those. Si far this summer and last one, he delivers. Hail King Ed!

Hard to see we buy a top of the line striker with Rooney here at least for another season or two and we only play with one up top. He's still a very good striker, although very reliant on service now unlike those days where he was capable of doing everything. Peram dulu Kane at Spurs and see how he pans out. If he repeat his performances, go ahead and break the bank for him next summer. As for backups, no idea. Rooney will miss a couple of weeks throughout the season. Surely we need one unless Chicharito stays.

Would love a pure dribbler, but we have too many options with Depay/Young/Di Maria/Mata out wide. Januzaj should go on loan where he will play regularly.

Copypasta, if you are interested for Herrera Mk. II:
An RB would could defend properly? Who would have thought?

I'm more looking forward to his forward runs.

our midfield looks so crowded at the moment.

these players will have playing time? doubt so.. waste of talent, especially januzaj

fellaini januzaj valencia

even blind also looking like backup already, if shaw stays fit
*

Valencia is shit going forward. Should be regarded as a full time RB these days. Backup for Darmian.

Januzaj should go out on loan. Pity him. If we played 433 right from the start last season, he would have gotten more chances.

As for Fellaini, valuable squad player. As good as he was last season, we would always try to get someone better. Plenty of ganes to share. No worries. Carrick and Schweinsteiger will be rested a lot considering their age.

Schweinsteiger-Carrick-Herrera
Blind-Schneiderlin-Fellaini

As much as i like Scteineger,  but i tbink we are few seasons too late to sign him.
Really dont sed the reasons of signing him.

He's still a very good player. Even if he just give one good season for us, it would be worth it. Would give the team time to scout/assess CMs. We can wait. It's not like the likes of Pogba and Veratti are available/want to join us.

Ooo thanks for the translation.
But in regards to SAF leaving for next generation, I think not. Towards the end of his career, you can see SAF was thinking more towards immediate glory like buying RVP and bringing back Scholes.

Towards the end of his career you can already see the gaps in the midfield yet he did nothing to plug the gaps but instead when for a tactic which involved scoring more than the opponent which worked with RVP.
It was because of this I think that's why DM failed as horribly as he did. Having a new CEO didn't help DM as well.

It's a bit unlucky. He bought young players to take over the old guard, but things just didn't work out for a lot of them mainly because of injuries and whatnot. The likes of Vida and Rio also had injury problems both at the same time cutting their time short at the club. Evra getting old etc. And both Nani and Valencia lost their spark just about the same time as well making us blunt going forward. In short we had problems all over the pitch.

Ddg,
Rafael, Smalling, Jones, Evans,
Ando, Nani, Cleverley, Pogba,
Welbeck.

Some are still here of course, but most of them were very good for us for a few seasons. Some just lose the spark/got injured and never kick oyn/regressed.

Pogba left too early. Some could argue SAF didn't give him a chance, but he would eventually.

I am a bit worried though on the goalkeeping department. Some  say Valdés is left out from US tour because he would be sold or shipped off to another club soon. And if he goes, while RM bids and gets De Gea, we need a good goalie... Lloris is injured, while Cilliansen doesn't seem to be coming anytime....

If the offer is low(surely it is, only left one year), might as well take the hit and keep him for another year. Just buy someone come next summer.

i would rather let pereira get promoted to the first 11
the only way for the youths to develop is when u let them play more often

but seeing how woodward's man utd run business these days, wont be surprised if he signs more players in lol.

We don't have someone who can make things happen. A threat, dangerman. We need to put fear into the minds of the opposition. Make them shit their pants when we got the ball and run at them. We went from having Giggs, CR, Nani, Valencia(not shit version) and Park even to the ones we have now. Night and day. Mata as good as he is, is easily neutralised. Januzaj seems to play better centrally these days. And Young, is Young..valuable squad player, nothing more. Depay looks like more of a finisher, one that get on the end of moves. As much as we spent last few seasons, our attacking side is still toothless. Be a bit of a failure for me this summer if we lose ADM and don't get a Reus or his kind in. Forget Bale/CR/Mueller..chase the ones not yet at a one of the big boys. We have more chances then.

Pereira will compete for one of the CM slot, or #10 role. Hopefully LVG give him that chance in a few games at least 10-15 games here and there, and take it from there.

Lingard have for a few pre season already perform quite well. Hope we have a plan for him. Could end up as a very good squad player to have around rotating.
