Since we now have "abundance" of attacking midfielders .. why not go for a strikerless formation ... or employ some players as false 9 ...laugh.gif

"I knew the club was going to have these kind of signings," Mata said.

The total amount spent on the 10 players is £228.1m, a figure which does not include the £6m loan fee for striker Radamel Falcao, who has since joined Chelsea.

Mata, who has scored 16 goals in 50 competitive games for United, added: "We know there is still a lot of work to do.

"It's not just about bringing good players in. It's about playing well and winning trophies."

hmmm, so vengal is actually looking for left footed CB, n he hinted that blind might play a lot more as CB next season. not sure what to think about this really :S

anyway, judging by the youtube vids of pedro, i can say that if he really is coming to man utd, he will definitely wont be our main striker, but he will make an excellent attacking forward. intelligent with goal-scoring passes n thru balls (something we sorely lack of last season), good with shooting too. but then again we might have to offload 1 of ours, n it seems to me that di maria will be that unlucky person laugh.gif not to mention, pedro is using no7 jersey for barca too laugh.gif
