You need to know that most of the 1.8MTs have knocking issues which sounds like crunchy shell kena broken.

At first I thought it's the timing chain cause it sounds like it but turns out it's not.

Watch out for the idler pulleys and serpentine belt if your car is above 100k already.

Also there's the issue with the clutch needing to be replace if your 1st and 3rd gear hard to go in.

*
Same issues here.
My knocking (slight pinging) happens around 2.3k rpm and 2.4k rpm, regardless of gear. (Ron97 makes it go away tho)

If im driving, then put to neutral, my 3rd gear cant go in directly from neutral. I need to put in 4 gear, then without release clutch, put into 3rd gear.

Minor problems.. so far i got used to it liao

change gear oil again lo lol
considering mitsubishi specification of 0w20, and LM Mos2 (assuming you're using that one) has ceramic particles, i'd advise to consider other EO's tongue.gif
*
Hmm.. the manual i got showed a big range of engine oil for the inspira.
I'm thinking it is the ceramic particles that is reducing friction, coz my fuel consumption is now noticeably less.
From 10-12Litre/100km to 8-10litre/100km. for city driving, since i changed to liquimoly mos2.
Whats your reccomendation for EO? preferably less than rm200. I can try and post personal results here.

anyone have contact for cheap fuel filter local seller? my car already exceed 80k km & the fuel consumption getting higher... i suspect is becoz i havent change the fuel filter~ lol
*
You can contact Sleed store. he has a facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/MyMitsubishiParts/
I bought some general stuff from him, like mitsu oil filters and aircon filter. Price is fair. maybe you might save Rm10-20 for the fuel filter? Not a big difference imho.
My car is also nearing 76k km. havent changed the F.filter yet.

THanks for the info. But i just want the fuel filter alone... so have to see if anyone know any local dealer selling only the fuel filter itself
*
