On the track no doubt neo have advantage,  however on the road with VVT and VDC (ESP basically),  I would lean towards the iriz.

I had a damn good experience test driving one despite it being a shit cvt

That said,  iriz wouldn't be a very good family car as it's trunk space is crap,  rear generally only fits 2 comfortably.
