QUOTE(The Red Giant Warrior @ Sep 27 2015, 01:02 AM) Inspira sifu, I'm been wondering for a long time alreadi...Dun get angry if this question is very 'panas' one My opinionIf let say Preve CFE vs Inspira 2.0, both stock, drivers with skills on par, who would win in 1) 0-100 km/h acceleration 2) Road with lot of corners 3) 3 km straight road 4) Top speed (I guess it's Inspira but just want confirmation) No bias pls Apples to apples comparison of stock car. 1. More or less equal because Preve CVT gearbox got slightly more delay to respond to pedal input than Inspira although it has more low-end torque. 9 seconds+ 0-100km/h for both cars 2. Preve most likely will win because it has Stability Control. 3 and 4 is same answer. There is no replacement for displacement. 2.0 Inspira has more HP . QUOTE(y4ng @ Sep 27 2015, 04:17 PM) from all the replies ppl asking about inspira, most likely answer would be: If you expect a stock Inspira to corner as hard as your current Neo, then please don't buy this car, you should aim for a Ford Focus, not Inspira.1. proton ma, dont buy 2. for for godcar =.= maintenance seems expensive for 2.0 auto cvt, but 1.8 manual as well? clutch plate would pricey, maybe other things to takecare? mechanical parts can understand a bit, but for electronics any issues? sigh, seems like it is a trend here to troll people asking about inspira's problem. anyone own a 2010/2011 manual? so far engine/gearbox overhaul b4? thank you! If you want a comfortable family car and better interior than your Neo, then it is okay to buy Inspira. |

Value for money is true. Clutch wise, your Neo clutch is much higher. You need release more to move the car. Inspira clutch is lighter. I've never driven a CPS Neo before, the older IAFM ones yes. So I have no idea how the CPS engine feels like. I'm a yr 2013 Inspira 1.8MT owner.
If practicality wise, if your family wants to drive, buy Auto better la.. Not many people these days wants to drive a manual especially the ladies. |

QUOTE(woe.com @ Oct 2 2015, 03:55 PM) I feel like wanna upgrade a better sound system soon, so tweeter would probably an item to be add, but dont feel putting the tweeter at the side of the dashboard coz feel like not neat, so thinking to buy the item below to fit it more neatly but not sure the tweeter quality izzit good enough. I have an Alpine Type-R SPR-60C component set and yes it can fit not so properly in the stock tweeter cover. Not so properly means cannot screw properly but at least can secure it la.hmm.. can those 3rd party tweeter selling outside able to fit into these (side cover)? Or... the build-in tweeter already good enough jor? http://www.mudah.my/Rockford+Side+Tweeter+...ra-40640685.htm http://www.mudah.my/Inspira+lancer+gt+evo+...7816.htm?last=1 |

QUOTE(woe.com @ Oct 5 2015, 01:59 PM) Oic, thanks for the info bro, btw how much for the whole component set cost you? My component set was around RM700+ exclude the amplifier. This car is good to play audio system as the stock sound proof actually quite good. As long as you don't install those custom A-pillar panel for tweeters and make it too flashy, nobody will bat an eye on this kind of car .Every year depreciate 20k until no value maa.. then no face-ci, left only thick skin |

QUOTE(woe.com @ Oct 5 2015, 06:02 PM) That is a big no. The HU must go first. In terms of feature, the stock HU is good. At least got Bluetooth but no touch screen la . Mine is 1.8E . The original paper cup cone speaker that comes with the car only work best with the stock Clarion player. If you change the speakers while remain the original HU, you will find that the sound lacks details plus the original HU don't have a proper equalizer. |

Need some opinions for those who have mod their extractor.
I have been given 2 material options for 4-2-1 extractors, Aluminized Steel ( Malay ppl call it "paip putih" it seems ?) or Stainless Steel . Price wise, "AS" is RM480 and "SS" is RM850 including my request to put back the original heatshield thus need to weld back the mounting for it. I am aware that Stainless Steel will most likely last much longer than Aluminized Steel due to better corrosion resistance but does it justify the price ? I have seen 2 samples of both extractors, in terms of smoothness from the inside of the pipe, Stainless Steel feels smoother. The shape and size is the same. The exhaust shop owner do inform me that there will be those "flowing water" sound or buzzing sound after changing the extractor which I believe a lot of people here who bought from SuperCircuit is facing. However, I was informed that Aluminized Steel versions have less noise than Stainless Steel. So does it make sense ?? I am driving a 1.8 MT and I am not expecting much power gains. I only want to shift the powerband to the lower rpm range for better drivability. This post has been edited by k!nex: Oct 10 2015, 06:11 PM |

Want to ask . Someone approached me and show me his stainless steel air intake piping to replace the original rubber hose. The stainless steel intake piping comes together with both sides Samco silicon hose.
The seller is telling me that since the stainless steel intake piping internal surface is smoother, air can enter the throttle body faster it seems ? My own thinking is, there might be some truth in it, since it is rather like people doing port and polish job. However, stainless steel piping is susceptible to getting hot being in a hot engine bay which makes air temperature going into the throttle body becomes hotter and less dense. So less oxygen means less power. So any opinions on this ?? |

Want to ask anyone who fitted an original Lancer GT spoiler into their Inspira.
![]() Currently my replica spoiler cracked at the base area. So this time I bought a used original Lancer GT spoiler for quite a cheap price. So the question is, I already have drilled 2 holes in each side to fit the existing replica spoiler. The original Lancer GT spoiler has an additional plastic stud jutting out ( from the picture it is quite blur because the spoiler is black) . So do you guys cut off the plastic stud or drill another 1 more small hole each side on the trunk lid to accommodate the spoiler ?? |
