I feel like wanna upgrade a better sound system soon, so tweeter would probably an item to be add, but dont feel putting the tweeter at the side of the dashboard coz feel like not neat, so thinking to buy the item below to fit it more neatly but not sure the tweeter quality izzit good enough.
hmm.. can those 3rd party tweeter selling outside able to fit into these (side cover)? Or... the build-in tweeter already good enough jor? http://www.mudah.my/Rockford+Side+Tweeter+...ra-40640685.htm http://www.mudah.my/Inspira+lancer+gt+evo+...7816.htm?last=1 |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Oct 2 2015, 03:58 PM) consider having a budget of 1-2k, get a decent reputable brand component set (500-1k) and then remaining budget sound proof (remaining budget) the door panels I'm indeed in the range of budget and also indeed of thinking of doing the sound proof lolz fitting the "original" tweeter location can discuss with installer btw, i survey the soundproof price b4 for fender & wheel arch area, cost around 700 |

QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Oct 2 2015, 04:12 PM) u dun like that lolzz.. QUOTE(stormspider @ Oct 2 2015, 04:16 PM) I have done soundproofing on my inspira and I feel that the cost outweighs the benefit when it comes to soundproofing the wheel arch area as the tyre and road noise is still quite substantial. hmm, ok, thanks for the real experience info.. hmm, then should put more budget to the sound system to overcome the "noise feature" It would be better to focus on soundproofing the doors and turning up the volume to mask the tyre and road noises. |

QUOTE(k!nex @ Oct 3 2015, 06:47 PM) I have an Alpine Type-R SPR-60C component set and yes it can fit not so properly in the stock tweeter cover. Not so properly means cannot screw properly but at least can secure it la. Oic, thanks for the info bro, btw how much for the whole component set cost you? QUOTE(k!nex @ Oct 5 2015, 05:55 PM) My component set was around RM700+ exclude the amplifier. This car is good to play audio system as the stock sound proof actually quite good. As long as you don't install those custom A-pillar panel for tweeters and make it too flashy, nobody will bat an eye on this kind of car . ya, agree that, I was also thinking to keep the stock HU, just upgrade the "unseen" stuff inside |

QUOTE(k!nex @ Oct 5 2015, 06:22 PM) That is a big no. The HU must go first. In terms of feature, the stock HU is good. At least got Bluetooth but no touch screen la . Mine is 1.8E . eeh forgot to mention mine is 2.0p with touchscreen HU.. so i think should be ok to keep it gua? Just upgrade better audio component to bring out better sound quality coz wanna keep it simple outside look but with hidden power inside.. kekekee The original paper cup cone speaker that comes with the car only work best with the stock Clarion player. If you change the speakers while remain the original HU, you will find that the sound lacks details plus the original HU don't have a proper equalizer. |
