 tm modem>asus router>maxis router, linking to server&online

Hi All,

Why i plug out the cable from asus LAN port to maxis LAN port, all the users which connected to the SMC switch cannot online and go to file server?

all the ip address already do setting.

Whats wrong with that?

Hi,

Please ensure that the LAN port from the TM modem is LAN 2 as that is the only port which will have internet connection.

Hi,

Yes, alr confirm got internet connection.

Direct line to laptop from maxis router is ok, but once through the SMC Switch then cannot function.

Hi,

is Biz Fiber.

And yesterday MAxis hv call me and help to solve this problem.

The Problem is because all the computer still detect old gateway "192.168.2.1", but then the maxis gateway is 192.168.2.253.

Once they done the setting, my side just have to disable the Local Area Connection and enable.
